   We arrived within our reservation window only to stand at the host stand for approximately 8 minutes while many workers passed right by us. Once we finally got sat, we were put at the only 2-top table that wasn't set with dish ware. We ordered menu cocktails that took incredibly long to arrive (5min past when our appetizers were served.) Appetizers of BBQ croquettes and chicken lollipops were delicious. Then we waited another 25-30min for our entrees that we ordered simultaneously with our appetizers and cocktails. We had to flag down 2 separate servers to inquire about our food as we had drink plans right down the street soon. In the interim of waiting, we received 1 drink order that was not ours as well as another dinner order that was not ours--after the 30min our correct food was served. Entrees were quite tasty--octopus(which was a very small serving), chicken caesar, dirty fries(our favorite!), and claw. Unfortunately we didn't have time for dessert and had to request the check and pay out right when our entrees arrived. This is a very cute place and has great food, but the service was certainly lacking this trip.

   The food was great, and the ambience was calm, with conversations and the usual restaurant noise, which was nice. The only down-fall was the service. It was slow and rather inattentive. We first ordered the drinks, and they send us the wrong drinks, once this was changed; We received the mains, however, the cutlery was not changed and we had to stand up and ask at the bar/staff section to change this for us (after trying to call the waiters to change this for us). After the mains, we also had to wait a long time before they would ask us if we wanted any desserts or coffees. We ordered lovely desserts! However, before we did, the waiter brought us one menu of the Bar Nibbles, instead of three dessert menus... Once we finished our desserts, we asked for the bill (which we also had to stand up to get as no waiters were looking around the tables)... and to our surprise, the bill was also wrong, which we flagged to the manager (also having to stand up, instead of the staff looking around the tables). I went back to the table hoping that they would bring the corrected bill... which never really came! We had to ask if we could pay before we left!! (some other people might not do this and it'd be a business losing money!) Instead of the waiter taking the payments, they simply left us with the card reader for us to sort out!! At that point we were truly considering not paying.... It was the cherry on top. It's a shame as the food is lovely and the atmosphere is great! But the service was truly poor and not up to a minimum standard.

   Setting is very nice they upgraded the bar downstairs as well Service was done with a smile but it was very slow - waited 45 mins for our starters. One server did provide free bread to make up for this, although we did originally ask another server who wasn’t as helpful Ox cheek croquettes were very nice, tacos were okay, The octopus arrived cold and the dirty fries were lukewarm which was a shame The chicken Caesar salad was served without chicken initially, again the server was great and gave us another one and apologised at the end of the meal although it wasn’t her fault. Good value with a 40% discount but I wouldn’t come at full price

   The food was good overall, but we had to wait a long time for it, and the restaurant was almost empty. They had a private event downstairs, but again, it wasn't that busy to compensate for the poor service. Also, we had to send back one of our mains, the burger, because it had been on the kitchen counter for ages and was overcooked and burned.

   Service very good, was expecting Sunday live jazz but there was no band however it was a quiet afternoon so perhaps it ended early? Waitress greeted us and moved a table to accommodate my double buggy which was appreciated. Roast beef and Yorkshire puddings were really nice but the veg and gravy were sub-par, fairly bland in my opinion. Cauliflower cheese was basic, hardly any sauce and not rich and unctuous as you’d hope. Fairly good value for money with food and a drink included for £25 but improvements need to be made on the roast accompaniments.

   Great Sunday roast, good service, love the venue. My only feedback is that they need to lower the music level, as it was difficult to have a conversation. Thank you

   Awful food! I’ve never eaten food so bad In my life! The starters were cold, we ordered prawns, you could taste that they weren’t fresh and they were freezing cold! Main I ordered the short rib, biggest mistake!! It was disgusting! No taste, it didn’t have any seasoning, just a piece of boiled short rib slapped on a bed of hummus! It came with fried pitter bread, awful! So much oil and it was so hard. We ordered chips which were £5 the chips were just normal supermarket chips with chip seasoning, they were the only thing that had taste! The cocktails were horrible, bitter, over strong! The whole experience was awful! The restaurant was empty! Only 4 tables including us, one table was a group of city men shouting and laughing so loud. Honestly I have never eaten food so bad! The fact they even serve such food is just shocking! I will never be coming back here. My cousin has been twice, he said the first time was bad but he wanted to give it another chance, so he went with me and said it was worse than his first visit! A bill of £128 wasn’t worth it at all!!!

    The waitress with the blonde curly hair was excellent. She was so attentive and lovely. Such great service. I would definitely go back there.
