   This was terrible experience. We were basically ignored. We received our drinks and appetizers after 30 minutes and then waited another hour until the waiter acknowledged that we didn’t have our food. We maybe saw him twice during that time.

   I only go for the pasta ala vodka and they were “out of it”. I took some clients there after telling them how good it was and then we couldn’t get any. What they got instead just wasn’t that great. Our reservation was at 5:30! How do you “run out” at the start of the dinner hour?

   Once seated , we weren’t even acknowledged for 20 minutes. When our waiter showed up he simply walked up and asked if we wanted to order drinks .10 minutes later, he brought us water and reminded us of the corkage fee for the wine we brought (but didn’t offer to chill it). The salads came out then entrée came about three minutes later. Not ideal timing. Food was bland, but not horrible. Ironically, this was a very similar experience to the last time we tried this place a few months ago. I get the impression their staff is simply not trained well, very junior and not really happy to be there.

   I never know what to expect when I come here. I have had lousy service, awful food, but last night the service was great and the food was excellent. i do feel like the prices keep going up and not sure the price is worth it.

   I usually avoid chain restaurants and my last visit to Brio was a great reminder why. Food is okay and service is okay but the corporate rules and policies etc are ridiculous. No flexibility on any kind of substitution whatsoever. Server has to ask general manager and of course the manager never to be seen says no. Locally owned restaurants are always more eager to please and satisfy their customers. I won’t be going back here any time soon.

    The hostess was rude beyond belief. Checked in 30 minutes early and was told we couldn’t get checked in until I reservation, which was fine, then we came back at a reservation time and watched somebody without Reservations that checked in after us get seated before us. The hostess also shoosed me. we ordered an appetizer, a salad and entrées, never received our salad, so we canceled our salad once our entrées arrived. The steak that we ordered was way overdone I feel like this establishment is way understaffed and their service is lacking because of it. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting which I had to tell somebody at the front desk. This establishment used to have a very good reputation and I would say at this point we probably won’t be back
