   my wife and I had an absolutely horrible brunch experience this afternoon. She ordered the waffles with strawberries……the waffles were too sweet and thick cream was so sweet it was nauseating, and only one strawberry sliced into 10 itty bitty slivers…rediculous, and the cappuccino was lousy. I ordered the scrambled eggs with sausage, and the waiter brought me 2 eggs sunny side up, followed by another waiter bringing me another 2 eggs sunny side up, which I returned both orders and told the waiter to bring my correct order. The waiter was awesome, it was his 3rd day there, and he tried his best. The chef should be ashamed of serving such sicky sweet food and literally the wrong food ordered. We will NEVER go back for brunch!!!!!

   Food was awful. Worst lasagna. I think they made it with American cheese. They did not charge us for it since it was so bad. Ordered the chocolate cake because I was obviously hungry. Arrived so late the vanilla ice cream was completely melted. Like cake with liquidfied ice cream. It was too unappetizing to eat. Will never eat there again.

   We go to Brio about 10 times per year and it’s our go to when friends/family are in town. This evening we were seated in a section that, unbeknownst to us, was short a server because they had been pulled to assist with a wedding party of 38 people. A server from another section was taking care of us, but the attentiveness was not there. It took her 12 minutes to bring us a Pepsi and a lemonade. After the entrees were dropped off, 26 minutes after ordering them, the server went AWOL. She never returned to check on us and when we were ready to leave we couldn’t find her to get the check. Unfortunately, I had to track down a manager to try to get our check. It was then that the reason for the long wait was explained. He attributed everything to the wedding party and was saying how the kitchen was backed up, etc etc. If any of this would have been explained up front, we may have been more sympathetic but we were ignored by the server and that has no excuse. How long does it take to walk over and ask if everything is ok with our meal, probably 10 seconds at most. Then there is no excuse for beverage service to take 12 minutes since this has absolutely nothing to do with the kitchen being backed up. Overall, the service was terrible this evening.

   Large staff but very slow uneven service. Just watching servers, some are standing around doing nothing and others are running around like crazy. Waited long time for wine, salads came first, but no bread. Finally told wine selection not available. Ended up realizing we were charged for the original order rather than for the less expensive substitute. I expect the servers could do with a good training session about efficiency and sharing responsibilities evenly.
