The restaurant is an old cannery and has been converted beautifully. Large planking floors, high ceilings and a gorgeous selection of wines and spirits displayed everywhere. Enjoy NW Bistro inspired fare from our scratch kitchen with a dynamic, breathtaking 270 degree waterfront views from the main floor or mezzanine levels.

Very expensive for what you get. Gluten-free bread was frozen when served. Soup was under seasoned, needed salt and spices. Steak was not worth $40+, pasta with clams needed seasoning, the clams we had at McMenamins the day before were much better. Overall very disappointing for a dinner for 8 costing $350+ (without alcoholic drinks or desserts).

Salmon was cooked perfectly paired with rice and a pleasant combination of charred vegetables. Mocktails are unique. A talented pianist added to a warm ambiance. Service, as always, was friendly and prompt.

Our experience was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a private corner with two window views over the Columbia River. The food and service was perfect. This couldn’t have been a more memorable dinner.

Finally a restaurant that understands the importance of seasonings, spices, freshness of ingredients, and how to pull them all together. Every bite was packed with flavor, a culinary delight! Thank you Bridgewater!

I decided on halibut and should have selected salmon. Salmon is still my favorite in Oregon.

I really like Bridgewater Bistro and won't stop going there, but last night's meal was just not up to par. The chef absolutely ruined a really nice piece of hailbut, overcooking it and making it tough and tasteless. That's kind of unforgiveable in a town that knows fishing and fish and how to cook and serve fish. The thing about BB is that some things are absolutely great and you can count on them being great every time: the calamari, the bouillabaisse, the bread, the desserts, etc. But then there is that inconsistency that mainly involves entrees and must be the responsibility of the head chef. Boy do I wish that that inconsistency could be corrected! Otherwise, the hospitality, the ambience, the friendly, welcoming and very comfortable atmosphere are all so good, the table waiting is usually very good. But every once in a while there is that clunker entree that makes you wonder what's going on in the kitchen with the head chef.
