My girlfriend and I celebrated our two-month anniversary at this cozy local bistro, and it couldn’t have been better. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor—easily some of the best we’ve ever had. For mains, I had the short rib, which was tender and rich, while she enjoyed a terrific burger cooked to perfection. Every bite was fantastic, and the ambiance made the evening even more special. Highly recommend for a date night or any occasion!

The halibut fish and chips are the best I've ever had. Resturant is really nice, delicious food, but our waitress didn't seem happy to be serving 8 grandmas. The manager guy was not pleasant either. Interesting for such a spendy resturant.

Can't say enough about how great a night we had at Bridgewater Bistro. It was a birthday celebration and the management did everything to make it a night to remember. We were offered two drinks immediately - gratis - because we were a little early. We sat by the cozy fire while we sipped on a lovely syrah and delicious pinot noir each. After a very short wait, we were led to the best table in the house and treated thereafter like royalty. Warm bread with oil arrived and then the calimari we ordered for an appetizer. It was just right: very lightly coated and seasoned just right so that the flavor came through wonderfully. My partner had the short rib of beef while I had bouillabaisse - a scrumptious fish medley over risotto. The complimentary birthday dessert was their famous Oregon berry cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream. Wonderful! The manager (perhaps owner) and wait staff were so kind and went well out of their way to make our night memorable. This restaurant is certainly THE restaurant in Astoria. Highly recommended.

Disappointing! A coast restaurant with only one fish on the menu? Salmon, and it was overcooked dry. We won’t be back.

The ambience is stunning and it is very clean. The music of Choi e was a nice touch The food was average for the price. We were. Here’s $2 more per entree for the seafood cakes than is listed in the menu. The seafood stew was supposed to come with bread and we had to request it after the food was brought to the table. Usually not a big deal but service was very slow so it took a minute to get it. Maybe they are understaffed, because our server was not the friendliest either and not willing to do anything outside of taking orders.

We’ve been here many times over the years. This visit was the best ever. The experience was exceptional in every way. The Hungarian mushroom soup alone is worth the visit. Wine list and other libations are exceptional. And the service is pleasant and attentive. This is the best restaurant by far in Astoria.

Plenty of tables, great service, good food, live, mellow guitarist. Food was little pricey and the place is a large dining hall atmosphere. The view would be excellent in the daylight.
