   Amazing service and outstanding food!!! The chicken sausage pizza is a MUST!!! The Smached cucumber dish was one of the best appetizers we have had!! We also love the ricotta dumplings and French fries ALWAYS!!! We also ordered the banana cream pie to go later and it’s to die for!

   Our server’s name was Chris and he was awesome. Clearly passionate about the food and providing great service. He was a fantastic server who was friendly, honest and ensured that a fresh bottle was open for the glass pour we ordered (which was very much appreciated). Food presentation was beautiful. We had the crab toast, lamb sausage and carpaccio. We were hoping for more gamy flavour in the carpaccio so it could stand up to the savoury flavour of the parm. It ended up just being a vessel for chess. We assumed that the meat was soaked in milk to draw out some of the iron and gamy flavour but were missing it in the dish.

   Fondue was meh, very sweet but amazing portion size and great amounts of things to dip, just need better cheese ratios and wine to make it have the right flavour. The steak dish and the pork dish have the same gravy and white sauce which is super lazy for the kitchen and price point of the restaurant both dishes should taste much different and this makes them samey.

    Love Bridgette bar for the food and cocktails. One of my favorite. The Canmore restaurant has a great cozy vibe and a great place overall. I would recommend for sure. Except, make sure you get a table far from the heated patio area door. Twice now I had issue with constant cold drafts and the door is pretty much open all the time. It ruined the overall experience last time I was there. I wasn’t going to comment on it because I’m such a fan of Bridgette Bar but this is a major problem to me. Hope they fix it soon.
