   There was some confusion over my reservation. I had the email confirmation but they had no record. It was a very crowded evening so they couldn’t accommodate us. We found 4 seats at the bar. The manager came over and apologized but offered nothing.

   They did not have our reservation (or a hostess/anyone to ask us if we needed a seat or had a reservation?) and we had several different waiters for our table. Forgot silverware. Cold food (I think they forgot about us often). And never gave us waters we asked for. It was an interesting experience and I felt bad because I took two couples from out of town here before a comedy show. Luckily we are all good sports and tipped appropriately, but it was not the best experience. The singer/guitarist was great, though! Would go back, but sit at the bar. My friends said they had great experience there before we arrived, and loved their cheese curds.

   Service was slow. The place was not busy. Although the website says make reservations for Friday and Saturday as they will be busy. When we arrived there was no hostess with a sign saying seat yourself. May have been a nontypical Friday. But our biggest annoyance was slow service predominantly with bar drinks. This seemed odd given how empty the place was. Food overall was good. The waitress was friendly just as noted very slow bar service.

   To give this place any score over a negative star is an affront to my sense of fairness. A truly terrible experience ranging from dirty keg lines, to subpar service, to food that I would be afraid to serve at a school cafeteria made by the lowest bidder of food service.  I was shocked as on OpenTable, this restaurant has 4+ stars, so figuring it might have just been a one off. I dove deeper into the reviews. It was not a shock that all of the reviews written by people with actual names, were one star and all the reviews written by “OpenTable user” for five stars… I feel as though some shenanigans were afoot . Regardless, if you’re looking for a meal in Grand Rapids, with views of the river, do yourself one better, and pick up a combo box from Taco Bell.

   Terrible. Half of the menu items were unavailable. Service was very slow even though it was not crowded at all. I would not recommend and will not go back.

   No hostess was present when we walked in. We had no chairs at our “reserved table”. Took over thirty minutes to just get drinks. There were few waiters and it seemed like chaos.

   First time visit. Will be the last. Server was terrible. Orders were incorrect and served to the table at different times, with 10 minutes between first and last entrees arriving. Table next to us was left uncleaned from last party for the entire time we were there, which was 2 hours for a simple dinner for 4. Appetizer plates were never cleared from our table, even when entrees arrived. Sides on entrees were incorrect. Bill was incorrect when it arrived, being charged for things we never had. Overall way to noisey for the amount of people there. Hard to carry on a conversation across a small table.

   It was a decent experience. Food was good, not great but we enjoyed it. Our waitress was a little slow, even when no one else was there since we got there early before a concert. We were glad we got there earlier or we would have been late.

    I guess the manager and the hostess quit two days before our dinner. Our waitress did the best she could but we were there for three hours. Food was cold and brought to us a plate every 10 minutes. we didn’t eat together. It was a terrible experience. I’ll never go there again .No owner in sight to help
