Our vision combines New Orleans inspired recipes with handpicked top-notch local ingredients. We are Cincinnati's only New Orleans inspired gastro pub and we are passionate about staying true to those roots. Our mid-19th century building beckons our guests to come in for one of 18 all craft beers and wine on draft, a house made craft cocktail or one of our lovely small production wines. However, the food is the star at BrewRiver.

Our outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink and an amazing meal! You may be lucky enough to wander in on a night where a blues, folk or jazz musician is playing! Our goal is to give you a little bit of The Big Easy right here in The Queen City! We hope you will come join us and Laissez les bon temps roulez!

I spent nearly 10 years living in Louisiana. Sometimes I get craving authentic Cajun cuisine. Doesn't get more authentic than this. Gumbo here is SO good. Key to great gumbo is the roux. You can tell the painstaking attention to detail has been adhered to. Love this place. Live music (on a Saturday night), friendly, impeccable service without hovering (thank you, Tina!), incredible food and drink, and an owner, Joby, who cares about her customers. Thanks for a wonderful evening, Brew River Creole Kitchen. In a town with many wonderful dining options, you'll be part of my regular dining places! Five of five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tonight we tried the Etouffee and the Catfish Po Boy. As always, the food was delicious and the service attentive but not intrusive. I would highly recommend this place.

Drinks took far too long… Food took far too long…. Wife’s pasta was quite good, but my jambalaya was mostly rice; The Andouille sausage was sliced as thin as deli cheese and then even halved. Seriously? A Creole restaurant’s signature type dish clearly prepared in such a budget conscious manner is not a good idea. Want great Jambalaya, try Swamp Water Grill or Allyn’s Cafe.

First time eating here. Charming building and fun atmosphere. Food was great. We sat in the bar area and there was a New Orleans style band playing so the noise was higher than usual but was still enjoyable. The chicken and sausage Etouffee was very good and the burger was classic (American cheese, lettuce, tomato etc.), well prepared and tasty. It's the only burger option. The Sazerac was incredible and a nice change from an Old Fashion. Their receipt printer was down all night which created a lot of chaos among the staff. Service struggled to keep up and we often waited for drinks, food etc. Hopefully it was just the printer causing a ripple effect. We will return to try other menu items.

Delicious food, great service, prices were very reasonable for the high quality and reasonable portions. We did snacks and small plates “tapas style” with our group of four which allowed us to try more dishes and we loved them all! Highly recommend!

Use to love going here for Sunday brunch. However, the experience is not what it used to be to be. There have been subtle menu changes, my breakfast sandwich now came with fries rather than potatoes and my husband’s Eggs St Charles was really skimpy. To make matters worse the poor bar tender was acting as hostess, seating people, waiting tables, running food and cleaning up as people left. It is like ownership is just letting the place go.

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful GNO at Brew River. We had the best of service offered by the caring and courteous servers. They specialty drinks had a fun twist NOLA style. The atmosphere and ambiance were great touches including great live music. But most of all the food was absolutely delicious. Chef Michael does an excellent job providing flavors to delight your palates. You will find yourself wanting to try a bit of everyone’s plate at your table! This place is great! You will find yourself looking for another time to visit there again real soon!

They must need kitchen help? The service was slow and the meals were lukewarm warm. They apologized but needed help and no doubt wished they could meet the demands better.
