   We went on Valentines and the services was awesome and super quick! We were kinda shocked how fast it was. Spencer did an awesome job taking care of us, explained the menu thoroughly, kept the wine glasses full and personality fit our vibe. The only thing I have lower scoring too was we were in a quiet back room and would have preferred being out in the main dining area to people watch better haha

   I specifically went with my date for the Valentine's day set menu. My partner has an allergy to peanuts. There were no peanuts on the menu. Not the set menu or the larger a la carte menu. And yet due to the allergy we were told that we'd be denied the set menu because "the chef said there are no substitutions" we did not ask nor required any substitutions. There were none needed. When i made the reservation it asked ifni wanted the set menu and i said yes, it then asked if we had any allergies. At no point was i told being allergic to something that was not even on the menu would mean we could not order what we cane for. Despite this we decided to stay and have dinner anyway. My partner's meal was fine, I ordered a steak, which was fully burnt on the outside. The internal temperature was the medium rare I ordered, however the 'crust' on the steak was black and acrid. It was not a nice maillard reaction one might hope for. It was sooty and black and bitter. I was upset and disappointed, the sides were excellent though. To their credit they did offer to refire the steak, but I was starving and did not want to wait any longer. The demi-glace was delicious and I drowned the steak in it which made the meat palatable. The restaurant did comp the steak, which was very kind. Regardless. I will not be going back. Having no fewer than 3 people tell me we couldn't have the meal we wanted despite there being no danger was enough treatment to not return. I had already checked the menu for allergens and the meal would have been fine and no matter how many people we told they steadfastly refused to give us what we wanted. Absurd.

   Great service, very expensive, costing $340 for 2 for dinner, my rib eye steak was $72, I decided to order it thinking it would be really good, while tasty it was quite tough with sinew throughout.

   We love coming here. We always tend to get the same booth and our favourite waiter Jeremy!! It’s nice we do not need to leave the hotel to find a great reataursnt. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

   Ate here three breakfasts and very happy with food and service. Sunday had a few more brunch options.
