The restaurant should not take reservations at 10:00 as the kitchen closes at 10:15. We ordered the Seafood rolls, Popcorn shrimp, and Bang Bang chicken salad (main). The seafood rolls and salad were particularly bland. The chicken was overdone. I normally do not review but the service was very rushed and the food was below average.

Had a lovely meal with my mum, food was good, service was good. Unfortunately the heat level in the restaurant and toilets was just too warm.

This restaurant needs to stop thinking it’s something special and focus more on customer service. Firstly offered a table totally inappropriate as we had an elderly relative with us who was unable to climb onto the high stool. We pointed it out but was told that all the tables of 3 were full. We insisted that the table wasn’t appropriate and an another very nice staff member moved us. The guy who took our order was very pleasant and friendly. We ordered oysters and champagne but the oysters came first and we had to be wait for the champagne. Food was ok but nothing special. They cleared the table although one person was still eating. I asked for tea with my dessert but came before. Small attention to detail but nevertheless important.

This is my fourth visit here. Soooo disappointed in my birthday lunch. Came with a friend and recommended the Bang Bang chicken which I always have. The starter portion was smaller than usual and really watery with hardly any chicken. My friend had the larger portion and I was embarrassed I’d suggested it - terrible. Should have sent them both back but didn't want to make a fuss. Very disappointed.

We are regulars to the Brasserie of Light and have always enjoyed the food, but the past couple of visits have not been up to their normal levels of food standard. It just doesn’t feel the same anymore for some reason.
