    Nice food and good table service but dreadful service on arrival. We were told our table wasn’t ready and to wait in the waiting area. We had to chase our table 3 times after seeing many tables be seated before us despite arriving after us. Hostess said she was seating larger tables when I questioned her on this. She wasn’t. We were a table of 2 and I watched her seat 3 tables of 2 before us. Again, I questioned this and she lied and said it was a table of 4. It wasn’t. Shame that our experience was ruined by this and we were made to feel completely forgotten and ignored. Not sure why this happened but it made us very uncomfortable. I’ve visited many times before and not had this issue so very disappointed.

    As long term regular dinners to the brasserie of light one of our favorite places to dine in town. Last night was the worst evenings we have had, nearly all of the staff were new, the service was poor, the drinks and food much were smaller portions than normal. The ambiance has also changed, it will be a long time before we visit here again, unless there is a dramatic improvement. Hopefully this should be taken as a constructive feedback so they can improve the experience for all diners.

    Great ambiance, superbly tasty food! …certainly 5-star in a trendy setting …great music and do check out the wines and smoothies …you can’t go wrong with the Miso Black Cod!! …relish your experience!!!

    My husband and I were invited by selfridges VIP to enjoy a dinner as a welcome gift to the membership club, on this night it happened to be our 6th wedding anniversary. We ate and had a lovely night and when the bill came the waiter/store manager began to question us for a voucher. And asking to see proof we were in fact VIPs which was extremely embarrassing and distasteful. Selfridges VIP failed to inform the staff of our booking which led us to wait 15 mins after we’d finished dinner and was ready to leave. The lack of coordination between the VIP concierge and the BoL staff is appalling especially at such a premium location. I would like to highlight the actual dinner service was great and our wait staff were lovely. 4/10 overall experience which is a shame because we frequent Selfridges quite a bit hence our VIP membership status and imagined this restaurant to be our go to spot for food.

    Always a lovely time at the Brasserie. They made my birthday lunch a special occasion. They were also happy to serve my fish without the sauce to meet with my dietary preferences.
