The food in this restaurant is off the chart delicious. Probably one of the finest most delicious restaurants I've eaten at in years. We all enjoyed experience there. On top of that when it comes to food I'm incredibly hard to please. This chef knows what he's doing and has classical French training. If you don't go to this restaurant then you deserve what you get. If you do go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. There is not a finer restaurant in Bar Harbor or for that matter probably in the United States. It is in the upper upper upper top 1%. It deserves a Michelin star. !!

We recently stayed in the Bar Harbor area for the first time for a quick anniversary trip and enjoyed 3 spots for dinner - Brasserie Le Brun, the Reading Room, and McKay’s. While each has their particular attractions, as a foodie and wine guy the Brasserie Le Brun was our favorite. Food was all outstanding (wagyu ribeye, onion soup, mushroom tort, the fruit tart) and very good wine options. Probably the best dressed dinner crowd we encountered, for whatever that’s worth. Relatively airy and open space that’s comfortable. Wait service was top notch. Not on the ocean so in contrast to the Reading Room no interesting outdoor views. Would enjoy returning.

A fabulous dining experience celebrating birthdays and a beautiful vacation in Maine. The food was absolutely some of the best, most delicious delicacies I’ve ever had. My partner felt the same way. If you’re in Bar Harbor and want to experience food in a way that you will not soon forget, enjoy Brasserie LeBrun!

We enjoyed our dinner at Brasserie LeBrun so much that we came back the next night to sample more of their wonderful menu. The Short Rib Bourguignon, scallops, salmon, and steak au poivre were all outstanding. The wait staff was knowledgeable and so welcoming. Wish we lived here so we could hang out all the time!
