Very nice ambience. Our table was quiet only because we were lucky and seated in back room. Main dining room is very noisy. Service was excellent throughout our meal. We had a bottle of house pinot noir - it was thin without much to please the palate. I would never order again. Prices by the bottle were exorbitant as is usual for downtown restaurants. Appetizers, main, desserts, and coffee were plain, mediocre and without remarkable flavor. Coffee was lukewarm. We were there on fixed price dinner and surprised that we were charged extra for bread and coffee We definitely not return to Brasserie du Monde.

We went to celebrate a birthday and experience Dine Downtown. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our waiter Justin was excellent, as well as all the staff.

Mussels were excellent! It happened to be a Dine Downtown night and we were pleased that several of their usual entrees were on the special menu. Service was very good.

We had a great dinner. Chose the Dine Downtown menu, between the two of us we tried the soup, salad, salmon and beef burgonion. All were delicious. My husband had the soup and asked me if it would be bad if he licked the bowl it was so good! The entrees were well prepared and yummy! Service was perfect. We will be back very soon!

Came for Dine Downtown and just walking in the door, the restaurant was lively and welcoming. Salads were very good and soup, cauliflower mushroom, was excellent. Folks were happy with their entrees of risotto, lamb, cassoulet, and boeuf bourguignon. Kudos to the chef to make us all happy with our choice. Carrot cake was good and the sponge cake was great. We left appreciating the staff and Brasserie for a most enjoyable Dine Downtown experience.

When your reservation is confirmed for 6pm and they can't seat you till 6:15 or 6:20 because they have overbooked the evening I can't really give an outstanding recommendation. We changed our entire choice of food because we were concerned about how long things were going to take and we had tickets for a show. That being said, the drinks were excellent and the food that we did have was very good.

My friend and I selected this restaurant for the dine Sacramento. This place is a hidden gem! They offer free parking in the basement after 5pm-that was very convenient. I’d imagine especially on a rainy day-you don’t even need to be outdoors. The service was excellent. It was busy but they were well attentive. The food came out hot-so I knew if was a freshly made plate. While I could not pronounce the dish I pointed and read the descriptions. The mussels and fries was a fabulous deal-we added bread to dip in the wine sauce-delicious! Highly recommend to try this place.

Our first time here on a Thursday night. There appeared to be multiple events downtown, so it was quite busy. We ate from the Dine Downtown pre-fixe menu of three courses. The salad was simple, but tasty. Our entrees were very good. I had beef and my wife had leg of lamb. The lamb was very tasty but tough. The beef was excellent. The entrees were a bit slow coming out due to the kitchen being slammed, but the ambiance and service made up for it. We were not even aware of a french-themed restaurant in town. We had a good experience and will be back.
