Our first time and we will def go back! Casual and comfy atmosphere, friendly, attentive service and great food. So glad that items were marked gluten free for the two in our party who required it. So glad to have found this place. We will add it to our list of fav restaurants in Steamboat.

Obviously Paul was trying to create a whole different restaurant experience with Brass from what he accomplished at Cafe Diva for decades. Brass has a well lit, contemporary look and feel about it with a “happening” atmosphere…. it’s just ok to be a little loud with your crowd and even speak to your neighboring table. Drink menu is solid and drinks are served quickly ( no hunting someone down for your next ). Wide variety on the menu and our table started out with Tuna, Hummus ( big set up ) & Korean Short Rib . Our Entrees included elk, Bolognese and short ribs - all well portioned and good. Finished off a couple of bottles of wine ( of course Paul is going to have fabulous wine list ). Of note: expected prices to be 25% higher - Brass is a real treat and value.

A very relaxed environment and a great menu with a variety of delicious items on the menu. Of the 3 restaurants we ate at during Christmas week, we voted this our favorite!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish. We were greeted warmly and immediately shown to an inviting table. Our server, Tomas, was so attentive and fun. Other staff were backing him up to present our meals, refill water and clear the table with grace. A festive and relaxed vibe. I highly recommend the trout.

Our server Michelle was super helpful with guiding our choices and attentive. Our table was tucked in the corner so I thought we might get ignored. That wasn’t the case. The menu is very creative and changes all the time with the exception of the brass fries, mac n cheese, korean ribs and the pupusa. We had the pupusa and korean spare rib. Both were excellent, as were the short rib and the steaks and cheese. Would definitely be back on our next trip to Steamboat. Lively, fun vibe right on Yampa.
