My wife’s 40th Birthday. Table of 5. We really like the ambience and staff at Branded. Food on the whole is very good, but on this occasion 2 comments: 1) my wife’s steak was requested medium and was served rare. My wife didn’t like to make a fuss as she ate some of it - when we quietly mentioned and showed the staff this when they came to get our plates, there was no apology even. I would have expected them to refund that steak - even if it had been mentioned earlier we would have had to wait for another to be recooked while others ate, so was not really an option. 2) when the gentleman was pouring champagne, one of the glasses significantly overflowed with champagne on the table. I would have expected a free glass to be offered, but again no apology, the gentleman was more worried about mopping up the table. For these reasons I have marked down on this occasion.
