   My wife and I ate here for a date night a couple of days after Valentine’s Day. We have been to Bottles and Bones one other time and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, they were doing a limited menu due to Valentine’s and there wasn’t a great selection for my wife to choose from. She doesn’t eat red meat. She ended up ordering a house salad and Goat Cheese ravioli (appetizer). I ordered a NY Strip and a Caesar salad and we shared the whipped mashed potatoes. My steak was good, but not worth $65. My wife said her ravioli was overcooked and chewy. The star of the night was the whipped mashed potatoes. We also ordered a cheap ($48) bottle of wine and shared a very tiny dessert. For a date night out costing me more than $200 it’s a little sad that my mashed potatoes was the star.

   I don't know what I expected but this place is one of the best Steak Houses in the greater Atlanta area. I thoroughly enjoyed everything.

   My husband and I visited for a Valentine’s Day weekend date night, excited for a special evening. While the ambience had potential—with warm lighting and live music—the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The cocktails were fantastic, easily the highlight of the night. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the crab-stuffed lobster tail, which was unfortunately overcooked and had pieces of shell throughout—it was nearly inedible. Our bisque appetizer was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. Dessert had a promising tiramisu-like texture, but the overwhelming amount of nutmeg completely overpowered the dish. The service was a mix of highs and lows. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. However, our arrival felt awkward—the hostess simply stared at us until I initiated the conversation about our reservation. While I wouldn’t recommend this spot for a romantic dinner, I could see myself coming back with friends for happy hour and live music. The drinks and vibrant atmosphere seem much better suited for a casual night out than an intimate dining experience.

   The Valentine’s dinner was $125 per person and with 20% gratuity. The service was great. We opted for the 28oz Porterhouse dry aged steak, med rare. My husband had loaded bake potato and I ordered Brussel sprouts. The steak was overcooked and not tender like dry aged is typically. The baked potato was hard and not cooked all the way. I ordered a French martini and it was great. The service was awesome. We will not go back as the food quality was not there. It is a big splurge for $$400 dinner and drinks for our anniversary and would rather have had a $40 dinner somewhere else.
