   First time here. Regretful and disappointed are two words that greatly sum up my experience here. We ordered the bread + butter, the dry aged rib eye medium rare, the regular rib eye medium, mushrooms, and potato purée with two glasses of wine. Bill came out to about 300 after tax and tip. Steaks were both cooked medium, extremely tough, and lacked any flavor. My hand was cramping from having to saw through every piece. I had to keep drinking to help the dry, tough bites go down a little easier. I had to drench each piece in the sauce that accompanied to give them back a little bit of moisture and flavor. Potato purée was runny, lacked the any creaminess, and was topped with coarse ground pepper which was an unpleasant texture combination. Mushrooms were the star of the show, I have nothing bad to say about those. Our server was great and the ambiance felt luxurious. But without the food to match the elevated feel of the restaurant, it left us feeling empty and confused as we handed over our card. I was going to keep this review to myself, but what happened at the end of our dining service was appalling. Halfway through our dinner we heard the server at the table next to us encouraging the couple to check out the upstairs bar area as it has great views of Little Italy. So after we finished paying we headed up towards the stairs. I was stopped just a few steps up and a woman asked us if we needed help. I told her we were just headed up to the bar area to check it out and she said there was a waiting list and we were not allowed to go up. So after spending 300 dollars for mediocre steaks, and after severs encouraged other guests to visit upstairs, we were sent away feeling so upset as the luxury we were after dissipated as we walked out onto the street. I would not go back. I would not recommend except maybe for wine at the upstairs bar we didn’t even get to visit. I’m hoping management can reach out to us and make this right because my gosh do I regret that dinner.

   Good but not great, my steak was over cooked. Service was ok but not great. Very short and to the point. Carrot cake was 10/10

   My husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary, and wanted somewhere chic sexy and with excellent steak, we got exactly that! Our overall experience and expectations was satisfied 😌 thanks to the staff at Born & Raised for the excellent service ❤️

   Excellent service. Good steaks, hamburger, sides and carrot cake. Table base very awkward for foot placement and uncomfortable booth bench.

   our server was so sweet and attentive! I came with my 4 friends for my birthday, we're all college teenagers so I'm used to higher end restaurants being dismissive of us because we aren't the big spending demographic but the staff was so kind. great ambiance and food!

   Never been to a steakhouse with a HUGE beautiful bar, who did not carry Kettle One vodka for martinis. Did have $35 glasses of wine though…Caesar salad made tableside was unique and delicious. Very very noisy with lots of beautiful wood on walls and ceiling making it almost impossible to hear when restaurant filled up. Valet parking was $20.

   We’re here on vacation from Michigan, I’ve had good eating in my life, but this was far above anything I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is incredible, service is exceptional, and the best steak dinner of my life. We travel often and I will now forever seek out Born and Raised for a meal when in the area. 10/10
