We enjoyed our evening with family at The Boot, it’s a very friendly and comfortable place. Our food was good especially the steak which was delicious, and the homemade chips were lovely. However every meal came with a side of salad leaves and peppers which is I feel is totally not needed with a curry or gammon

We hadn't eaten here before but really would go back and recommend to others. We attended for an early Sunday lunch and the food was fantastic. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was just right. The fact that there is a separate eating space to the main bar area makes it feel quieter and a lovely experience. We will be returning for sure!

The Boot Inn is a traditional village pub. It's a real little gem. The welcome my husband and I got was a warm one. I had booked online but my booking hadn't actually reached them and It was fortunate they was able to fit us in. So that needs looking at I think. Once seated we ordered a traditional Sunday lunch of roast beef with all the trimmings and it was absolutely delicious. All fresh and home cooked. It's always my first choice when we go out to eat. Really good food. Fab place and great staff who are very attentive.

All starters were good. Mixed opinions on mains - one (chicken with garlic) was very poor! There was a group in the restaurant doing shots and swearing, shouting etc. No staff spoke to them at all. Tried to have a family meal and it was awful! Slow with drinks service also. Very very disappointed- such a shame. Restaurant was empty also except for the rowdy (very drunk) crowd and us......

Ordered a mixed grill but the waitress informed us there was no steak and that we could choose extra sausage or chicken. Instead we asked for a burger because it was beef. Steak is the most expensive item in a mixed grill. Then the waitress made an excuse that because of Christmas/New Year there were no suppliers. Mold is a short drive away and surely someone from the Boot Inn could have bought some steak! After all, it was a Saturday night booking. We weren't offered any money back off the bill. We couldn't wait to get out of there!
