I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay Brasserie, and I have to say, it was quite the experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting, with a mix of modern decor and traditional touches that made me feel right at home. I tried the butter chicken, which was simply divine. The richness of the sauce paired perfectly with the tender chicken, and I couldn’t resist mopping up every last bit with naan. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure my glass was never empty and checking in just enough without being overbearing. I really appreciated their recommendations, too; they helped me pick out a dessert that did not disappoint. The pistachio kulfi was creamy and refreshing—just the right way to end the meal. Overall, Bombay Brasserie is a wonderful place to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine in a cozy setting. Whether you’re a fan of spicy food or just looking to try something new, I highly recommend checking it out

The prawn curry and paneer makhani were AMAZING…however the overall vibe of the resturant was lacking….it needs more flare and music…atleast some indian and/or french music! The drinks were lackluster and appetizers could be better. I think creating an actual french/indian fusion menu would make the place 5 stars.

The overall experience was excellent. We went for Valentine’s dinner and ordered the prix fixe menu. The presentation, service and flavor for the first couple of courses was wonderful. However the main course of chicken makhani and kale and burrata pesto didn’t quite appeal to our palette. It seemed flat and not as flavorful as the other dishes served previously. Perhaps rethink this combination going forward. We will definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion!

Bombay Brasserie is a place that I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a beautiful and mesmerizing fusion of Indian and French cuisine! Their Crab and coconut soup is a must try along with their fillet mignon which is the best cut of meat I’ve ever had in the Bay Area. Chef George’s world class culinary expertise can be truly experienced with every bite of food I’ve had 😊

Overall very tasty food with the exception of the chickem keema dish (which my wife and I only took one bite of each and felt there was something off with it). Quiet environment. Nice service.

Beautiful ambiance, great service, and delicious dishes - I highly recommend the Pomegranate mocktail, King Salmon Tandoori, and the rice pilaf was delightful. But the star of the night was the King Salmon. Thankful for great service from Lilian, John, David and the manager!

Service not acceptable. Only dish that was tolerable was duck samosas. My lamb dish was over cooked albeit I asked for medium rare. Cocktails were not tasty.

Servers were great, food was great, cocktails were great, but the kitchen was extremely slow. After appetizers we waited around 45 minutes for our entrees. Very surprising since the restaurant was only at ~20% capacity.

Most people only write a review if the experience is exceptionally good or bad. I rarely write reviews. I have been at the Taj Campton many times and visited Bombay Brasserie a few times now including new year’s eve. I absolutely LOVE the decor, ambience, food, service and the drinks. The manager shared with me her approach at wine selection and it was spot on! I took pictures of the wine labels and my mother who is an avid cook herself loves the food. Given what’s happening to the city, I encourage anyone reading this review to take a leap of faith and try this restaurant. We need good restaurants to stay busy and keep doing well.
