   Disappointed by Repeated Missteps at an Otherwise Beautiful Winery Each time I’ve dined at this restaurant, I’ve hoped for an experience that matches the stunning setting and high-end promise of the winery. Unfortunately, each visit has presented a new issue — leaving me consistently disappointed. On this most recent visit, the scallops were topped with a flavor combination that was surprisingly off-putting — an odd and unfortunate distraction from what should have been a refined dish. Beyond the food, however, the real issue continues to be the service. The wait staff seem undertrained, if not indifferent. When I expressed a polite concern, the response was defensive rather than accommodating. From the outset, we were pressured to order multiple dishes before even settling in, and when we declined to order wine, the server made a crass remark that felt both inappropriate and out of place for such a setting. To top it off, despite noting our seating preference both in the reservation and again upon arrival, we were placed in an entirely different section — even though the area we requested had open tables. The lack of attention to detail and hospitality does not reflect the level of excellence one would expect at a winery of this caliber. I truly wish the experience matched the promise of the place. Until meaningful improvements are made, I’m not sure I’ll return.

   Very nice experience. Food was delicious, service was very good. Our only criticisms were: The waiter told us we should order extra brea with the gambas. We wound up ordering 2 extra orders. If they suggest ordering extra, besides the one piece of bread that came with the dish, why don't the include more bread? The birthday dessert was a piece of bread pudding that wasn't good. Thank goodness for the ice cream. I'd just serve the ice cream and berries if the baked item isn't good.

   Wine tasting next door at Vienza, then dinner at Bolero, made for a great afternoon! The wine was great, and the food and service were superb. Second time dining at Bolero, both have been memorable.

   Great food and great service. Everything was excellent except for the beer. I tried two lagers and both were just ok. Then again, it’s a winery so I guess beer is not their specialty.

   Great restaurant and great winery overall. Everything was great! We just didn’t really enjoy the scallop dish but all the other dishes were delicious.

   Food options for the buffet are much less compared to what was a year or two ago. Although the buffet ends at 2:00 pm, they stopped bring out certain food items at 12:30 pm. The only saving grace was the excellent service and ambience. Would be back for wine tasting but not for the buffet.
