   Service was very slow and inattentive. Food had good flavor, but one dish came out lukewarm and another was overcooked. Overall disappointing.

   Waiter was great recommended good choices. Happy hour prices are good. Setting was excellent and it was quiet enough to hear each other speak. Tapas and sangria were excellent!

   As part of the pre-theatre birthday celebration for my girlfriend, we came to Boleo for dinner. As a beautiful rooftop bar with a retractable roof, it makes for a lovely happy hour location. We had a few appetizers and split some empanadas. Yuca fries are always a favorite of mine so I loved the yaquitas. The waitress asked if we were celebrating a birthday and when she found out we were, we got a complementary glass of rosè. Capping it all off with a candle in our little dessert cake, we had a wonderful experience at Boleo and would definitely recommend coming here before going to a show in the Loop.

   Such a great experience! New flavor combinations and everyone was so nice! Service was spectacular and I loved every second of it. Shout out to my server who had me try lychee for the first time. YUM!

   Great outdoor space. Quite a nice place to hang out for a drink. Food was fair. Empanadas had a very oily aftertaste. Ceviche lacked flavor and was a little fishy. Salmon entree was good but very salty. Maybe an off night for the kitchen but with so many great restaurants I’d only recommend this one for the atmosphere

   Setting was great but feel they exaggerated the views of the city skyline. One can see the tip of the Wills (Sears) Tower at best. The menu was limited. For a small plates restaurant with a South American twist, there could have been more elections and more geared to that theme. The large plates were fine. Good sized portion for the price but again, felt limited and not innovative. Our server, Chase, was great. We enjoyed his company.
