   Second time here. Definitely better than the first. I think it's bad they only give 90 minutes for the table. Especially as it was booked weeks ago. They did get us the the bar area which was grand to finish off our night. The chips had way to much seasoning. Steak was good sauce was good. Calamari was good. Definitely worth a visit.

   We had a booking for 330 Saturday. Arrived on time we were not handed a menu till 3.50 so twenty minutes wait before even getting a drink . My husband had to ask for a menu. The place wasn't overly busy to be waited on so twenty minutes wait is a long wait . My husband ordered chicken wings for a main dish and was very disappointed with them. Some of the wings..were not wings I think they were thighs and very fatty not much meat on them at all . The fries came out on both our dishes with perprika on them which in my opinion should be an option not many people like perprika . Its my third time with yous but yesterday was disappointing

   Food was excellent, when it eventually arrived- over 50 mins wait for 2 starters-where others who ordered after us were already halfway through their starters when we got ours! Mains arrived just as we finished our starters 🤷‍♀️

   Booked a table for lunch for a group of 8 work colleagues. On arrival we were greeted by a server who sat us at our table. There was only 1 other table of 3 people in the restaurant at the time. Our drinks order was taken quite promptly quickly followed by our food order. We were just ordering a main each and wasn't anything too fancy. After giving our order it took 45 mins for the food to arrive. The staff did not once come over to explain the delay or apologise for it. However when the food did arrive it was probably one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. Side portions however are tiny and although cheap enough I would certainly recommending an extra side portion if you don't want to go hungry. Also on the day the place was like an ice box. There didn't seem to be any heating on. Even the staff members looked cold and they actually asked if we thought the heat was working which we said it didn't seem to be. Overall with the food taking 45 mins to arrive and the place like an ice box (we went on a very cold day this Nov) it wasn't a great experience but the fact that it was an unbelievably tasty burger I will probably give it another chance.

   Had a reservation for Sunday 6.15, arrived 10 mins early , restaurant was empty and we were given the table next to the stairs to the toilets, asked to be moved but red flag straight away. Menu on their website was not given to us but we rolled with it. Server was very pushy wasn't allowing us time to choose, lots of hard sale upselling, we then waited quiet a while after we ordered to receive our food and no surprise it was not very hot, at this stage we both knew we would not be coming back, I ordered the 9 oz Striploin and it looked like a full steak was cut in half so very narrow, ordered medium but it was raw inside, also got the piri piri chicken which was not up to much, onion rings were very over cooked and hard , chips were nice, no ambience, no personal touch from staff, will not be returning, very disappointing.

    I was apprehensive dining here with friends being the only vegan but there was a starter and main course option. Main course tofu steak was five stars and the veg with it was just perfect and lots of it. Mushroom vegan starter was a 2/5. A bit lazy. Vegan cheese on toast and one mushroom on top. Would be nice to have had mushrooms fried in garlic on toast, simple! My friends all said their food was amazing. Staff were really lovely and great service 😋
