   Love boa- 5th time going. Had colleagues in from out of town and they loved it. Service, ambiance, and food is on point. Great music too! Will be going back again lol

   Excellent service and outstanding food. The Japanese J1 filet and petite filet were both cooked to perfection, the tuna tartare was fresh and flavorful, the tableside prepared Caesar salad was delicious and the smashed broccoli was a great side. The wine list is one of the best in Austin, comparable to Jeffrey’s. We’ll definitely be back.

   Sit in the bar area. Skip the Chilean sea bass and lobster. Both were tough, overcooked, and the Chilean sea bass skin was not crispy. I wouldn’t order their Sancerre. Filet was great.

   Fun & contemporary vibe, delicious meatball appetizer and Cesear salad, great spin on old fashioned cocktail (“Smokeshow”), chicken was delicious. Will go again!

    My wife and I were very excited to try Boa, but didn’t have a great experience. Service was great, ambience was great, but the food and drinks were a disappointment. My main complaint was my wagyu flight. I lived in Japan for 2 years and have had my fair share of wagyu. Wagyu is meant to melt in your mouth. It was tough to cut and the Hokkaido piece had a large gristle/cartilage running through it. I’ve never chewed up and spit out a piece of Wagyu in my life, but had to in this case. For $225 this should never happen.
