   We enjoyed both lunch and dinner. Lunch with clam chowder and a shrimp louie salad was delicious. Our server, Jack, was attentive and had great suggestions. At dinner, we enjoyed the Mahi Mahi grilled. We also had a California roll. Our server Gabe made a special cocktail with passionfruit, based upon my request. It was delicious. We always enjoy our meals at Bluewater. The combination of staff, food and views from the upstairs patio cannot be beat! We tend to make a reservation in advance, especially on weekends.

   The raw scallops & oysters were great. the burger was a decent american burger, the entree meals were meh. sushi was normal and not great, and the octopus was way overcooked. our server was really polite and kind but clearly busy, and we were in the lighthouse table so i think we got forgot about quite a bit from not being in a standard section. i also had to send back my dirty martini to get reshaken with more brine.

   I mentioned it was my GF birthday and no one told the waiter so I had to go tell him to bring a birthday dessert after he dropped the check plus the website says happy hour but it doesn’t say happy hour “ inside the bar only” - which is misleading and the blue water grill should update that on their website!!

   When we’re in Santa Barbara we always have lunch at Bluewater Grill. Best place to eat and relax.

   The food and service was good. They brought our order quickly after we ordered . The clam chowder was warm and creamy. While the pasta was flavorful with greatly cooked sea food.

   We had an interesting experience to say the least. While we were dining at this restaurant for valentines the power went out twice, which is out of their control. The food came out cold, which we didn’t complain considering the situation. What was upsetting was that we were expected to pay full price when our service and food was literally less than full price worthy. They did not offer discount or an apology for the service. The manager never once went up to any tables to check on them or to apologize.

    As a full time RV'er we always save Wednesday dinner nights for eating out in the city we are visiting for the week. We love to support local and try new places. We were all craving some seafood but my daughter and I really wanted a good lobster roll. This was one of the only places that had a WARM lobster roll on the menu. We were SOLD so I went ahead and made reservations. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly by a manager because the hostess was seating the group that walked in prior. He confirmed our reservation and took us to a nice, quiet table. The lights were just right, not too bright and not too dark. My husband and I ordered some drinks and our kids enjoyed the "shark attack" drink. Jack made the presentation of this drink so much fun for the kids. His service was ABOVE AND BEYOND. He let us play a few round of the game we brought as we like to play cards or dominos as a family and came back to take our order and checked on us often. As I said we travel all over, this restaurant was clean, cozy and clearly well taken care of. The servers were treated well from what I could see and that extended onto the service they provided to us guests. 10/10 JACK hit the mark! We will be back before we leave to get another lobster roll. They were delicious!
