Bluegrass is a casual restaurant located in Highland Park. With a cozy setting nestled into the west side of town it is a true destination dining location. Complete with a warm friendly bar and an American flare, Bluegrass blends in a little Southern influence into its repertoire. The wine and beer selections are all American, along with a full back bar, all hand selected to echo the quality of the fare. Aside from a beautiful setting, the restaurant has extraordinary food and service with a remarkable value.

    Neither of us had been here in years and our entire experience was far beyond expectations. From the inCREDible food to the perfectly attentive, cheerful service, we were so happy to have chosen this gem for a birthday celebration.

    Both my husband and i love the Walleye. And it delivered with taste, not greasy. I substituted mashed potatoes and beans and both were tasty. The helf portion was plenty as I don't like to take fish hoe. Ate at the bar and enjoyed the NCAA, converstations with neighbors and bar tender. We did have a reservation but had a short wait and decided to just eat at the bar. Reservations ahead are a must as it isn't very big. Can't wait to go back.

    This has been one of our favorite restaurants for quite some time. There aren't many cajun restaurants around and this one sets the bar! My.personal favorites are the gumbo,the jambalaya and the shrimp and grits. Don't leave without having dessert! I've had all of them and you can't go wrong!
