   Great end to a beautiful day in the wonderland that is Banff. Food was spectacular. Service was awesome and a wonderful overall experience. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

   Our experience from making the reservation and making adjustments to the time was so easy and the hostess was very accommodating. We have been on the road and this trip is our anniversary trip celebrating our marriage. The steering was a great spot where we could view the outside as well as see the fireplace and view the kitchen. The staff had left a cheers to our anniversary card on our table, very thoughtful. Our waitress, Christine, was absolutely wonderful. She made great recommendations and made sure that my food allergies did not affect my ability to enjoy the dishes. She made sure our servers explained every dish and what was safe for me to enjoy and the other dishes that had ingredients that I was allergic to, she made sure it was deconstructed so I could still enjoy the dish and my husband could enjoy the dish with the accoutrements. The steak was perfectly cooked. My husband and I ordered it medium rare but he asked for it to be a little bit on the medium side so there was A crisp on the outside layer but still pink/red in the center. I would also like to add that the carrot cake, by far the best we have had.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our Happy Hour meal of fondue and drinks. The atmosphere is rustic with a welcoming après ski vibe. The service was prompt, efficient and professional. The food outstanding! We would highly recommend the Bluebird to anyone visiting the area. Well done!

   Review for Bluebird Restaurant I visited Bluebird Restaurant last year and had a wonderful experience—everything from the food to the service was exceptional, and it quickly became a favorite spot of mine. However, my recent visit didn’t live up to those high expectations. The French onion soup was so overly salted that it was hard to enjoy, and the cheese fondue was disappointing compared to other fondue experiences I’ve had. The texture was curdled, and the taste was off, lacking the smooth and rich flavor you’d expect from a well-made fondue. The service, while friendly, felt a bit disorganized. Empty plates were left on the table while new dishes arrived, leaving us with a cluttered and crowded dining experience. I really hope this was just an off night because Bluebird has the potential to be amazing. I’d love to see them return to the level of excellence they were known for. For now, though, it’s hard to recommend based on this visit.

   Our meal was fabulous, from the cocktails we had to start, the appetizers we ate as our main course, the glass of wine and then the key lime pie and latte to follow. Our server Johnny was fabulous and nothing was overlooked. The host was very welcoming and we enjoyed the positive vibe he set. Thanks everyone…we had a great time!

   This place is bang on! You get your money's worth for sure! Pricier menu but 1000% worth it! For any milestone celebration, I highly recommend this restaurant!

    My wife and I visited Blue Bird for the brunch based on recommendations from both friends and hotel staff. My wife ordered the Croque Madame and I ordered the Soufflé Pancakes. I also ordered a side of eggs and bacon. Everything was fantastic and the value for the price was very reasonable. The flavors were very unique and unlike anything we could purchase from our home in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Blue Bird Brunch will be a staple of ours when we visit Banff.
