   I’ve been wanting to come for numerous years but waiting for a special occasion since it’s pricier than I can do regularly. Made a reservation for my mother and I since it fell between our birthdays. Mine was yesterday hers was tomorrow. There’s high top seating in the bar section which I don’t like with my shorter legs so we asked to sit at a regular table and they accommodated us no problem. Our waitress was excellent, helpful with the menu and I never once needed to ask to have my water refilled. It was a bit of a let down when it came up that it was our first time there and it was special for us she didn’t ask why and our birthdays weren’t mentioned even though I added that in the reservation. We each got a drink from the bar which were made perfectly and worthy of the $14 price tag. If I’m paying that I better taste the booze and be made to the highest standards. We split a salad appetizer the pear and kale salad $12 which is fantastic with walnuts, cranberries and fresh parm. For entrees which were $45 I went with filet mignon with mashed potato’s and green beans with a delicious bere blanc sauce. My filet was supposed to be medium and was very much medium well closer to the well done side. They had also cut into the filet to check if it was done enough which is crazy to me at a high end place the chef should know and to do that and have overcooked steak was a bit of a let down. It was tender so I ate without making a fuss. My mother ordered the fish special of Red snapper with herb Risotto and asparagus, again the sides were delicious but the fish was really way overcooked she should have sent it back for the price but didn’t. We split the tiramisu which was quite tasty and was a lighter more delicate tiramisu then you usually get but in a good way. I know this place gets rave reviews and feel like our overcooked entrees were a fluke but makes the cost a little harder to swallow when your dish isn’t perfect.

   Absolutely an amazing dinner. The chefs just took it to another level and the service was wonderful. LOVE Blue Moon Bistro. My advise is get a Reservation and you will have an outstanding experience!!

   Food was incredible and service was great. We will certainly dine here again. We actually eat at another nearby often but thought this restaurant exceed them. We will certainly come here again.

   This is our favorite go to for dinner, drinks and appetizers. The service, the staff and the owners are friendly ,personable and make every effort to make your experience a memorable time

   As always, Blue Moon Bistro does not disappoint! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and the food and service were great. Judy A, our server, was a sweetheart and made our meal extra special!

   Blue Moon Bistro never disappoints! The food was delicious as usual and the service was top notch. The Brussel sprouts might be the best item on the menu. The drive from Raleigh was worth it! Looking forward to our next trip back.

    It was another excellent dinner at Blue Moon Bistro. New appetizers like Buffalo shrimp and chicken lollipops were fantastic, and our entrees were all different and awesome. The staff is incredible. You can tell they love working there almost as much as we love going there!
