We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened this year in January, Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood brings you a second location location in South metro Denver. Our approach is still the same: to create honest food and drinks, served in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

If you’re looking for a good seafood joint this would work. The service was excellent, the prices were a bit high. If you want to hear or be heard, this isn’t the place.

Loyalty customer. Restaurant week special. Apps very good(Calamari & Smoked Trout). Desserts were good but sample size. New England Lobster Roil was over dressed with Mayo & celery. Lettuce filled the small roll…minimal lobster. Lobster was minced not in chunks…so hardly any flavor . My favorite slaw was notably lacking the tarragon and no flavor. Come here frequently for the lobster roll…even take out & this by far was not up to their standard quality. We went early so that’s not an excuse for poor quality food. Service is always great. Very dissatisfied for quality and value.

Came here with friends for restaurant week and had a great experience. Everything was cooked well. We didn't care for the potato dish that was served with the Surf & Turf but otherwise, it was great. The cocktail menu is very nice and our server was excellent. It is a bit noisy but still the experience was great.

Everyone enjoyed the evening. 2 of 3 meals were 5 stars. One meal was ordered and it was not what the person thought they were getting and was a little disappointing The menu description was not as clear as it could have been. If someone was looking for a plate of fried food they would have loved it. The server was great.

We went during Denver restaurant week where a 3 course meal was $45 per person. Food was very tasty. Service was a little slow probably because the restaurant was packed. Food was very good. We had grilled oysters, surf and turf and a lobster roll. If you like seafood this is definitely a place worth eating at.

Just did Denver Restaurant Week to give Blue Island a try. What a great decision! Their menu, service, presentation and flavors were among the best I've had. Sure, they were really busy for a Wednesday, but it didn't change the quality of service or quality of the food. Great teamwork on the floor with servers, food runners and table bussers! The regular menu is more pricey, than restaurant week, but I will return for the fine experience we had tonight.

This restaurant is a great place for seafood! The quality and value are unsurpassed. Try the sea bass or the lobster salad. It is probably the best I've had anywhere. If you are in the mood for oysters, Blue Island has a vast variety from which to choose. Half priced wine night is a must.
