Our Chef’s take inspiration from Billy Madison who drew a blue duck because he had never seen one before, and he wanted to see a blue duck! Well, since our chefs love classic Adam Sandler humor and innovative cooking, we thought that Bleu Duck was the perfect name to showcase our fun environment and staff as well as our unique and creative menu. Just like Billy, we like to try things that you’ve never seen before!

Bleu Duck Kitchen and Oyster Bar is a full service restaurant that provides a fun and welcoming atmosphere where white linens meet a casual feel to create the new concept of “fun-dining”. Co-Owners Erik Kleven and Jennifer Lester regard each customer as a welcomed friend, and aim to provide them with an experience that is both personal and unique every time they visit.

A very nice night in comfortable, pleasant surroundings. Delicious foods - the uniquely prepared stuffed delicata squash and very flavorful and tender fried clams were highlights, along with excellent, fresh, delicious oysters. The only place in MN I've found Island Creeks from Duxbury MA, which are simply extraordinary Our server was attentive, personable and upbeat. Easy to park in the immediate vicinity, as street meters are free after 5pm. We will definitely be back for more.

The waitstaff was very good with their service. The manager was very understanding with my displeasure over my dinner. He understood my concerns with what they were presenting. My husband’s dish of duck was very good. My dish was supposed to be fried clams and it was not up to my expectations. I am from New England and was anticipating having the experience that was advertised on their special menu of fried clams from Maine. What was served was not authentic fried clams. It was chopped up clams and real fried clams are whole and you have the experience of biting into the briny taste.

Way too expensive for the value. Disappointing. Terrific service but food was ok, not terrific, with one e ception, the small bowl of clam chowder. The wine was poor and expensive.

This was our first time here. We had a wonderful experience. Our server Nicky was absolutely incredible. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and told us the history of the building which we found very interesting. The food was great and reasonably priced. We highly recommend Bleu Duck Kitchen!! Outstanding!

Awesome Restaurant week menu. The fried clams were awesome, as well as the coleslaw. Scallops were delicate and tasty. Best clam chowder I’ve had in awhile.

We visited Bleu Duck for the first time for our anniversary. We were welcomed warmly, promptly seated, and quickly seen by our server, Alicia. Alicia knew our special circumstances and was thoroughly familiar with the menu, winelist, cocktails, and beers. She skillfully guided us through several choices and took our orders for drinks. We selected the classic old fashioned, the pork tenderloin, and the braised lamb. Alicia suggested a wine pairing for the lamb that proved excellent. The old fashioned was smooth and delicious, the tenderloin crisp and yet juicy, and the lamb and wine were superb. For dessert, we had sherry and chocolate tort that were wonderful. Special thanks to Alicia for very attentive service and impeccable timing. Bleu Duck staff are really friendly, highly professional, and wonderful. Our visit was a delight. We shall return to explore appetizers as small plates.

The food was not as good as usual. Very dry pork tenderloins, etc.
