   We got placed in the room with the live DJ, the music was so incredibly loud we had to almost yell to hear each other. We both got steak, neither was cooked anywhere close to our temperature preference so we sent them back. They came back out still not close, but close enough to eat so we wouldn’t have to send them both back a second time and wait any longer. Shocked they could not figure out medium well/well done.  and this was not us being picky, we showed the weight staff who immediately agreed these dishes were not even close to prepare prepared how we requested them. This is a market reduction in food and ambience from what we experienced during our first visit here five years ago. Doubt we will be coming back. Having said all of that, service was attentive and excellent. The restaurant is also visually beautiful.

   Service was excellent! The cocktails were amazing (I loved that date mezcal martini!!!). The artichoke side dish was out of this world. The salmon and mole cooked beautifully, and the filet and foi gras and potatoes-- wow! The fondante de chocolate was delicious. The only food we were not wild about was the thousand layer champurrado, but the fondante was plenty for the 2 of us, so we didn't mind at all.

   Por no ser adultos no recibimos el mismo trato que los demás comensales, nos dieron una mesa súper alejada de todo y se tardaron como 15 minutos en si quiera tomar la orden de las bebidas.

   I really wish I could write a good review but we went for dinner last night and the service was incredibly slow. I was never asked if I wanted another drink much less more water. By the end we just wanted our bill - that was before our final item even arrived. We just ordered apps and a salad too. Disappointed.

   Didn’t get very much attention or service even though I was alone. Server did not return for 45 minutes after initial seating. Meal came out missing half of plate.

   I know how hard the restaurant business is, therefore I don't normally give bad reviews, however, I was disappointed on our first visit to Blanco Colima. I was not aware there would be a DJ blasting music throughout the evening. Luckily we were seated in the adjacent room where the noise was tolerable. Our server was polite but she forgot about us midway through our dinner. We had to wave several waiters for water, drinks, the check... Their Instagram page portrays an elegant, romantic, top notch place. Not the case. It was an average dinner on a nice setting that looks much nicer in pictures.

   El lugar es muy bonito y la comida es buena, igual que el ambiente. El único pero (and it’s a big one) que mis amigos y yo le ponemos es el servicio de algunos meseros (especialmente Mercedes). En momentos parecía que nos ignoraba deliberadamente, alejándose de nuestra mesa como si no nos hubiera escuchado para después traer lo que ordenamos. No digo que no se nos atendiera, pero el trato pudo ser mucho más amable.

   Buena, las hostes no tienen criterio, es mejor que sí la mesa qué te asignan no te gusta hables con un capitán, por que ellas creen que tienen más atribuciones de las que deberían tienen.

   We ordered the short rib tacos very very good. The Hamachi crudo was amazing. Two of our party had the grilled fish. It was just grilled fish no flavor. The beat and barrata salad was delicious. My husband had the short rib entrée. It was full of fat ,tough and inedible. He brought it to the attention of our fabulous waiter, Armando. The manager came over, looked at it and walked away. When the bill came, we were charged for an inedible entrée. I would’ve refused to pay for it, but my husband‘s a lot nicer than I am and he just paid the bill. Extremely young clientele very bougie go to see and be scene but don’t eat any entries just starters

    Worthy of a Michelin star! Experience was outstanding. Staff was so friendly and attentive. The food and drink explains itself.
