   The food was good but not any better than Las Palmas, which would have been a fraction of the price. It gave Chipotle vibes but “make it Broadway and add liquor”. Our server wasn’t the best. For us, it wasn’t really worth the cost.

   Perceived value is so much more than food and beverage. It is everything in between. You are 100% correct, Tacos are not worth $18 if they are not accompanied by excellent hospitality. It certainly sounds like we missed the mark on a few things. Your experience with a Blanco should be higher level dining practices in a casual environment.    Wonderful dinner which had a quiet atmosphere, which was a welcome reprieve from Broadway.

   Very loud, cannot even speak at the table. Food portions over the years have shrunk big time and cost keeps going up

   I had such high hopes for this place. We were seated immediately after about 10 minutes, our waitress still had not come over. The host came to our table and offered us free guac that never came. It took us 35 minutes to get our drinks. We also had ordered a tamale, and that never came. The food was average. Not sure if our waitress was overwhelmed or new.  Probably won’t try this place again.

   We were only in Nashville for a few days but ate at a lot of establishments - this was hands down the best meal AND the best service during our trip. Would highly recommend the warm queso , the shrimp ceviche apps and the short rib burrito bowl !
