Blanco Castelar is located in Emilio Castelar 163, in the iconic Casa Domit. The restaurant opened its doors in June 2017 and since then it has managed to become one of the best restaurants in Polanco. Combining the architectural beauty with art and culture, this restaurant is one of the hotspots of the area.

The gastronomy of Blanco Colima it’s a fusion between Spanish cuisine with Mexican accents. Its based on products of the highest quality creating a menu that focuses on the ingredient through our chef’s perspective.

It has a relax bar that offers fun cocktails to our guests created by our mixologist focused on bringing the best experience by using always high quality ingredients. Our proposal has a range of possibilities: from classic cocktails to signature cocktails, where no matter what you drink the quality and detail are noticeable.

El restaurante tiene una decoración preciosa y la comida es excelente. Podrían bajar un poco a la música ambiental, ya que de pronto conversar se complica. La iluminación: de día excelente. De noche... tan bajita está (la luz) que hay que sacar la lámpara del celular par poder ver la carta y la cuenta. No todos estamos 'romanceando', súbanle tantito la intensidad a la luz, por favor.

La comida no es memorable, deja mucho que desear. El servicio lento y poco eficiente. Platos fríos. Y un ambiente ruidoso. No se puede platicar o estar tranquilo

El lugar es bonito pero hay varios puntos a mejorar. - Los asientos de gabinete no son cómodos, hace falta algún cojín para poder descansar la espalda, de lo contrario es preferible sentarse en las sillas. - El servicio es regular, el lugar no estaba lleno y hubo momentos en los que batallamos para poder ordenar bebidas a los meseros y en otros teníamos a 3 o 4 personas insistiendo en que pidiéramos postre o café ; además, si pides botella grande de agua para compartir, cuando se acaba te traen otra, la abren y la sirven sin preguntarte. - La carta es bastante breve, lo que haría pensar que han perfeccionado la preparación de los alimentos, sin embargo, la calidad y porciones de los alimentos vs el precio es incongruente. De un pescado a la sal de 1kg nos sirvieron 2 pequeños filetes (que no limpiaron bien pues nos tocaron escamas) con 4 pedazos de tomate y alcachofa y 2 cucharadas de puré de papa; las entradas, ensaladas, aguachiles y ravioles son individuales nosotros pedimos para compartir y nos tocó una cucharada a cada quien. - Preguntamos si tenían coctelería sin alcohol (mocktails) y lo que nos ofrecieron fueron limonada y naranjada.

El interior es lo mejor del restaurante, la comida muy normal, no vale la pena venir a este lugar debido a que la comida no es la gran cosa y los precios elevados.
