Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

    Repeatedly nudged that they needed the table back in a not full restaurant. Not fair to present with a bill before you’ve finished eating. Very regular customer - won’t go again.

    Went for a Sunday roast for my son 12th birthday as a group of 6. Service was quick and friendly/welcoming. 3 of us went for the mixed roast - spectacular when it arrived. 3 went for beef but also including a well done which was done perfectly. The food was filling without being heavy, good range of trimmings, Yorkshire’s large but light and crisp and the pork crackling was perfect at the bite. Nice vibe of families , couples and groups of friends. Nice birthday pudding to finish off a lovely meal out We will be back!

    I will definitely be going back! The filet steak was cooked to perfection and sooo full of flavour! I haven’t been paid to say this but the beef dripping chips were the best chips I’ve ever had! Very friendly staff too!

    Absolutely delicious meal and excellent service. Blacklock in Soho is the third Blacklock I’ve been to and the experience is so consistently great.

    Great starters, even if took a while to get them. Nearby tables were occupied after our arrival and were served before us. Same delay for the beef, that unfortunatelly was not great. Even if arrived medium rare as requested, flavour was not the best.

    Feels like they have managed to squeeze as many tables as possible, but I can understand why. The food was amazing, no wonder the place was packed to the brim the whole time
