Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set an old furniture factory in the heart of London’s East End. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's).

    My husband and I went on a Sunday and had the roast meal. It was the best meal I have had. I woke up craving it. I am on a birthday trip and the restaurant gave me a cheesecake cup for dessert and it was so good. I will be back next time I am in London.

    Nous avons adoré notre premier souper au Blacklock Shoreditch. Non seulement la nourriture était particulièrement succulente, à un bon rapport qualité/prix, mais le service de Sophia et toute le reste de l’équipe était parfait et rempli de petites attentions qui ne sont vraiment pas passées inaperçues. Merci énormément pour cette belle soirée!

    Great service! Just a bit disappointed with the quality of the fillet steak, which was a bit too chewy for my liking. Side dishes and sorbet desserts were awesome though and the Old Fashioned cocktails are some of the best.

    Food came out very fast. Garvey was topped up very quickly. Water glasses were never left empty. Excellent service all around. As the restaurant was busy, the noise levels was very loud so found yourself almost shouting so that the person opposite could hear what you were saying mixed with he loud ambient music in the background but you would get use to us as time went by.
