About this restaurant

Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set an old furniture factory in the heart of London’s East End. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's).

    We had a lovely birthday dinner last night. Our server was exceptional and seeing that we were struggling with a slightly moody teenager went above and beyond to smooth things over. Also a special birthday crown for my partner and lots of laughs. The food and drinks were excellent. Service excellent. We all had a wonderful time. Thanks so much.
