Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

    Honestly the best steak house I have ever been two the food was just amazing me and my partner went for our anniversary we both got a free cocktail,we shared a starter the ribs it just fell off the bone perfectly,then we both have a steak.we had the fillet and the ribeye and omg was it perfect.Service was amazing our waitress I did so well ,where we sat was amazing two and the price was so reasonable will definitely be recommending and coming back .

    Have been to Blacklock Shoreditch many times but this was our first time in the City restaurant and it was equally superb! Blacklocks consistency in food quality, welcoming staff and fantastic atmosphere always delivers! I can never recommend Blacklock enough to friends and family plus value for money is excellent! Thank you to all for a superb evening and the only problem I now have is to return to Shoreditch or head back to the City!
