Regret to say our experience was not wonderful. The staff were great, but my chewy $75 ribeye was a poor half inch thick cut of beef. My wife’s $80 filet was overcooked; happy to say they did a nice job with the replacement serving. Seems very pricey for a mediocre dining experience.

Ive eaten here serveral times. Each time the food and service are outstanding. The chicken succotash menu entry is one of my favorites. Generous portions always insure that I have a healthy take-away. The tables are spaced far enough apart so that real conversation is possible even when the restaurant is full.

This is a fantastic restaurant. I had the best meal I have had in the Greater Yellowstone Area for 35 years. You'd have to go a long way south to Santa Fe, or west to San Francisco to find food of this quality. I have visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton several times a year for the last 30 years, and I always begin and end the trip with a good meal before heading for the more restricted menus around the park. Bitteroot Bistro is a revelation. The Waldorf salad was elegant and with many interesting tastes - best I've ever had. The trout in buttered sage was heavenly, particularly with caramelized onions and pine nuts—so many different and vivid tastes. I tried two red wines and they were both superb, very good value and no pompous sommelier simpering around, which you would certainly get if you had food of this quality in any other restaurant. The lemon posset for dessert was creative, clean, and delicious to the last generous mouthful. Easily the best dessert I have had since I was last in France. My waitress was friendly and left me to enjoy the meal without hurrying me. The restaurant is very nicely designed and it is an absolute pleasure to sit and watch other customers realizing how excellent the food is, while watching people passing on the street outside and not knowing what they're missing. I will return multiple times. Please do yourself a favour and go and visit while it's still possible to get a table.

Everything was very good. My friend had the trout & my husband & I shared the pork chop. Its a little expensive but don’t mind paying more for a quality meal.

I always leave having loved every dish and go home with leftovers. Most places downtown don’t feel worth the price tag lately but this place is truly delicious and feels cozy. Great wine list too!

Excellent service and unique menu choices always keep us coming back. Tucked away on Willson Avenue just a half block off Main Street, the location is perfect for lunch or dinner. Our server Matthew knows his wine and always directs us to a great choice. The olive oil cake is not to be missed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the waiters and the atmosphere. Food was excellent, waiter was attentive and knew about the menu making suggestions appropriately. We had the trout, tenderloin and pork chop and would recommend all three entrees. We would definitely return.
