I always leave having loved every dish and go home with leftovers. Most places downtown don’t feel worth the price tag lately but this place is truly delicious and feels cozy. Great wine list too!

Everyone in our group really enjoyed BB. Food was excellent as was the service. A bit expensive but we’ll go back regardless.

Excellent service and unique menu choices always keep us coming back. Tucked away on Willson Avenue just a half block off Main Street, the location is perfect for lunch or dinner. Our server Matthew knows his wine and always directs us to a great choice. The olive oil cake is not to be missed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the waiters and the atmosphere. Food was excellent, waiter was attentive and knew about the menu making suggestions appropriately. We had the trout, tenderloin and pork chop and would recommend all three entrees. We would definitely return.

Excellent food and service. The croquettes are a favorite, and trout was outstanding. Bistro burger very good but not unique. The menu is limited and entrees a bit pricey but you won't be disappointed by the quality.

Need to workout the kinks. Need more staff and more menu options. Has great potential.

Small, quiet & excellent service. Appetizers were great but bread forward. Ordered the pork chop entree which was seasoned well but much too dry. Overall a good experience and our server was authentic & very nice.

Have you ever been to a restaurant that you really wanted to like but just couldn’t get there? That fits the Bitterroot Bistro to a tee. The Bitterroot is a cute and inviting restaurant with excellent service. Kylie and Matt were excellent servers - engaging, professional, and responsive. However, much like a really bad movie with great actors, the Bitterroot was unable to rise above mediocrity. The house salad was a combination of soggy iceberg lettuce and poorly presented vegetables. The hamburger was warm, not hot, and very small. The toppings consisted of wilted lettuce, and an end piece of tomato with a nice slice of red onion and pickles. The fries were soggy and unappealing. The price for this, including a glass of Prosecco, was $70 out the door. I would not recommend spending your time or money at the Bitterroot as there are many other better options in town.

We had the trout and the 1/2 chicken and both were excellent. The sweet potato mash with my trout was amazing! We also had the olive oil cake for dessert. Loved it!
