   Great place, small, quaint, rustic-modern vibes. Very relaxing. Only issue with it if anything is that the tables are very close together. They are doing the best with what they have and maximized the space. Overall very fun unique spot, the wife and I will go again. We got the charcuterie board, garlic parm fries, brisket bombs, and goat cheese and bacon jam bites. The board was large and very good, the toast with it was excellent. The parm fries with the garlic aioli (have to ask for it) was very delicious. Brisket bombs were ok but just missing something. Not bad just needs something more to it. Goat cheese and bacon jam bites were excellent. We just tried apps but the entrées people were getting looked great. Drinks were creative but I didn’t venture out. Shiner beer hit the spot. Wife got espresso martini, strong but solid mix of flavor and liquor for a martini.

   We had a good experience all around. The food was good, actually one of the better restaurants around. The corn dip was amazing! Crab cakes was beautifully formed but a bit salty; nevertheless, it had a decent amount of crabmeat. Fried shrimp was a bit on the dry side. I had mashed potatoes with it but it didn’t come with any sauce which I thought was strange given the fried shrimp was relatively dry. The plain, dry mash potatoes didn’t complement it all too well unfortunately. The fish tacos was good. Turkey club sandwich was ok, not great. My kiddo said that it could do with more avocado but that may be because he loves avocados. Service was great. Wasn’t too loud yet lively. Would definitely come back.

   Food was delicious and service was wonderful. The weather was awesome so we sat outside. Limoncello martini was 2 thumbs up.

   Came here during HRW. Made reservations and when we arrived were seated at a table near the kitchen door. Seeing the dining area was half empty we asked to be moved to another table away from the kitchen, which the hostess did. Ordered filet mignon from HRW menu . Tiniest, blandest and toughest filet mignon I’ve ever had. Ahi tuna app was outstanding as was the tiramisu for dessert. Spinach salad was excellent . Service was lacking . Was not busy and it appeared our waiter only had 3 tables . Music was ridiculously loud for such a small establishment with no more than 15 people dining there. And since this is not Chick Fil A, please offer cloth “ bistro” napkins instead of paper napkins..this place is always a hit or miss, with so much potential to be a real gem in the community. I hope they work out their kinks

   We tried the restaurant week menu and everyone enjoyed every course of their meal. The waitress was helpful, friendly, and efficient. We were the last group to leave the restaurant at night but never felt rushed. Really nice dining experience

   We went for Houston Restaurant Week menu. The blackened shrimp and redfish entrees were very good! The crab cake appetizer was excellent! Generous crabmeat and not greasy. The only miss on the food was the squash medley, which tasted like oil and not much else. Better for a night out with friends rather than a quiet romantic dinner for two since the room is quite loud.

    I brought a group of 10 here, so our server Gabriela was wonderful in taking care of us. I will however mention the kitchen is very slow to produce food, the food for me was delicious, great variety of choices and the $5 Bloody Mary on Sunday brunch is a meal in itself! Some mentioned the shrimp and grits were too salty. I had the Brisket Bombs and the Blueberry Lemon Pancakes which were absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere and yes got a bit loud in the back room when other groups arrived but overall everyone had a wonderful time. Will come again.
