   Arrived early for out 9.15 am breakfast . Drinks arrived quickly but sadly food took a bit longer and didn’t get our meals until after 10 am by which time drinks were finished! The sour dough/ avocado was disappointing with no tomatoes as advertised. Two poached eggs that were not supposed to be included .. I am intolerant of eggs ! Not Allergic and choose not to have them but was not asked and the sour dough was very soggy! I won’t be going back x

   I decided to visit Bills as a Xmas treat for myself and wasn’t disappointed. It was very busy and was expecting to wait for my meal but was surprised at how quickly my food came. I ordered the Boxing Day curry which I had a couple of weeks ago so I knew I was in for a great meal and it was. For afters I had the banoffee pudding which is always a favourite of mine. I’m not really a cocktail person but as it was Xmas I ordered a White Russian which I enjoyed enough to have 2. Service as always was excellent. A very enjoyable couple of hours.

   Bills never disappoints me. Hadn’t been to Bills for a while so decided to visit them. As always I was greeted with a smile and a quick chat and shown to me seat. I was unsure of which starter to order and was recommended the pigs in blankets. When they arrived I was pleased to see 4 nice plump sausages instead of the normal cocktail sized sausages served at other eateries. For mains I had the Boxing Day turkey curry which was very tasty. Dessert was an easy choice as I had my usual banoffee pie. Bills was very busy but I waited no time for my food to arrive. Staff as usual were very attentive, and even stopped to ask if I was ok as I’d not been in for a while. I never feel like a customer, more a friend. 5 stars all round.

   Really enjoyed the food and service. We were celebrating our 5th anniversary, and I’d requested a slice of cake as a surprise for my wife when making the booking. Unfortunately, that wasn’t done, which was a bit of a shame – perhaps they don’t read the ‘special requests’ section on OpenTable bookings. Aside from that, everything was spot on, and we’d certainly come back!
