    The Imperial Room is traditional and stylish with Silver Service setting a good atmosphere. The Bakery was to Betty's standard but...... The Staff encourage a request for additional Refreshment or Tea items so I was most surprised to be told that ' they had run out of Cream'. Minor perhaps but not when Betty's Scones are an integral part of the experience! A complaint was raised to be met with a 'standardised' reply. Other Diners have commented at the cost of the experience - I was happy to cover my Party but the disappointment was significant in this major respect. I had been happy to let delays in attracting attention pass but with the Afternoon in full swing it was inexcusable not to have obtained extra basic supply locally. I am sorry to give this poor - but justified - review which could have been avoided with much improved Management.

    We had the best experience for an Afternoon Tea at Betty’s in Harrogate. We were made to feel very special and received personal service from Lena who was outstanding in her attention.

    The most elegant, welcoming and delicious experience you could wish for! Thank you to all the Betty’s staff and the pianist for making my daughter’s 18th birthday a memorable event for all the family.
