We have been to Benoit a few times. We love their chicken roti for 2. This time my duck was a bit tough but the sauce was delicious. The pommes frites are always delicious. My wife had the Veal blanquette which was very tasty but hardly any veal.

Great classic French food. The duck, the pate en croute were delicious. I had the baba au rum for dessert and it was very authentic. Will definitely return.

Love the classics here: cassoulet, quenelles. Close you eyes and you are in France. They will still make a carafe of wine even though it is no longer on the menu. No stuffiness, just excellent service.

Another wonderful meal at Benoit. It’s so nice to come off a busy midtown street and find a serene establishment serving wonderful French cuisine with excellent service. I had the pâté en croute, beef tartare, fries, and some cheese for dessert. There are amazing wines and they offer a three glass carafe if you ask. It was a delight.

Excellent friendly knowledgeable server. We enjoyed escargot to start. Filets were prepared perfectly. Fantastic wine list including wonderful selections by the glass.

Benoit is an oasis of calm in the midst of midtown Manhattan. Elegant French classics and select Italian gems from Alain Dicasse’s upbringing in the Venetian region in Italy color this great menu. Wines are delightful and deep in the classic French regions with extra special burgundy and grower champagne selections. Merci beaucoup
