   Taking my team out for end of year celebration, there was 8 of us. We had reservations on a Tuesday night for 6pm. The party didn't all arrive until about 6:30pm and there was no issues with seating. We waiting in the bar area and sat on the patio side, nice ambiance, drinks were good from the bar and we had a few appetizers all good service. We got seated, way in the back as far as you can go, it was about 80 degrees in there and was super loud where you couldn't even talk 2 people away. The biggest complaint is that our cook didn't show for about 1.5 after we sat, so about 8pm he got there. They did crack the emergence exit door open to get us some air so that was nice. The chef was super cool, Derrick, the food was on point and the waitress was amazing, it was like she was dedicated just for us. Jaslyn was her name. I have brought a few different teams here before, always a good experience, maybe next time the cook can be about 1 hour faster, then this would be a 5 star rating, but I would say 4 stars is fair.

   Christian was amazing. Salmon was fire, soft and loved how he asked if we wanted topping before adding.

   Had an amazing time at Benihana in Downey celebrating my brother's birthday! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere made the night extra special. Huge shoutout to Chef Chris Carter for his entertaining and skilled performance at the grill, and to Gloria G. for her excellent service. You both made the night unforgettable.

   The service was very slow. It could be that they are under staff. And they took forever to bring our steam rice.

    We spent our Thanksgiving at Benihana. I was surprised at the amount of people that were there. Our chef was excellent. I am a pescatarian. He made sure not to cross contaminate my food with beef, chicken or pork. Everything was excellent.
