   We went on valentines day, so of course it is busy. We arrived for a 7:30pm reservation, were sat right next to the kitchen where they stack dirty plates. Initially we were able to order some drinks and appetizers at the beginning, but then the waiter became more and more scarce as the evening went on. There were staff there just standing around seemingly doing nothing, so we had to ask them for drinks. I asked about our mains several times, which didn't come out until I asked to speak to the manager to explain that we had been there since 7:30pm and it was now 10:00pm. Finally the mains came out cold and the waiter tried apologizing by saying we're really busy, which seemed like an excuse since it didn't stop them from serving other tables, nor is it our problem. Overall I would say the experience may have been well intentioned, but was poorly executed by the staff. We will not return their for future meals or events.

   It was Valentines day (yesterday) and my date and I had gotten there and they had given away our table because we were late (I called 10 mins prior saying we were going to be late due to the snow storm)so they seat us near the door and waited about half hour to be served drinks. They move our table because they propped the outside door open for some reason and everyone was cold. (We also ordered our food with the drinks) An hour and a half goes by and everyone is being served around us and we still haven't even gotten our apps. Our server apologized saying the kitchen was overwhelmed.. but my date and I watched her punch our order in the screen after she apologized. We waited another 45 mins and still nothing so we left. I don't know if they were discriminating us because we're 2 women, but it was the worst thing to do to someone on Valentines day after making reservations 2 weeks prior and driving 3 hours to get there because we're not from the area.

   Thank you to Bella Vista for a very nice Valentine’s Day dinner. Our reservation was promptly honoured, the service was wonderful and the food was very good. Overall a great night.

   Service was terrible. The waiter had a snarky attitude at the beginning of the night. Took him an hour and a half to get out food out. Didn’t bother checking in if it was right because 4/8 of the plates were messed up. Didn’t bother adding the gratuity onto our bills and asked us to manually do it. Got mad when he didn’t get a tip as if he deserved one. Lectured us about tipping laws in canada and was 100% incorrect. If you want a tip, do at least the bare minimum that ur job requires you to and get ur facts straight lol.

   The restaurant was completely empty, not a single other person in the restaurant, the whole time we were there - a busy Friday night when all of the other restaurants on College were full of people. So, not a pleasant experience but it could be argued that that wasn't the restaurants fault. The ambiance was. It's cold and sterile, without any kind of warmth. The service, despite the fact that there was literally no one else in the restaurant, was barely adequate. The waiter was more focused on his phone. He didn't ask if we were enjoying our meals, if we wanted more water, etc. The food was okay but nothing special - something acceptable since the meal wasn't very expensive.

   Food quality is mediocre at best. Most of our party didn’t finish their food. Slow service. Bottled fester was not available. Not recommended

   Our second year returning for a family birthday dinner. The owner and staff are welcoming, warm, and very attentive. The food was delicious and well priced. We enjoyed a great meal in a great place. We will be back again next year!

   The service was extremely poor and we wouldn't recommend this place. After waiting about 30 minutes for our appetizer, we asked our server about it and she said "It's coming right now." so we were disappointed that after 80 minutes we still hadn't gotten it, nor our main meal. We decided to just pay for the wine we'd had and leave at that point. When we got our bill we noticed we were charged for the appetizer. I asked why and our server said "You never received your appetizer???". I said no and she removed it. While I appreciate that she corrected her mistake immediately, she didn't even realize that we hadn't gotten the appetizer to begin with, which was very inattentive. It was Valentine's Day so we were extremely disappointed with the experience. Maybe it was an off day for them, and maybe it was busier than they expected, but we wouldn't chance going back again.

    Felt wrong going in my table wasn’t ready and it seem my skin colour couldn’t get me a good seat in the house so I had to wait while seats available and take a small one by the door. My girlfriend was just happy to be in the city so I ignored my pulses and stayed. They would have you believe they booked but they were empty til I left 2 hours later. The food was alright nothing to wild, but the wait times for it were insane. I got hungry twice waiting for mains after appetizers came and I order the mains same time, imagine that. It was filling however so not gonna criticize to much
