The reception staff and the Dining room staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They wasted no time in bringing menus and taking our order. The meal was first class - well prepared and presented - the soup, in particular was excellent. Our first time in this new venue but we'll be back.

The venue is relaxing and comfortable with great view of the river. Very attentive staff and nothing was a bother. Very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Food was okay and well presented but no wow factor which I had expected from all the great reviews I had read.

We ate at Beira on a Friday evening after travelling from Glasgow . We were starving. We intended to eat from the Scottish themed menu and although it’s quite small the options were enticing and left us struggling to choose . Last minute change of direction we went tapas . The dishes were delicious. Salted cod fish cakes my favourite . We ordered six dishes and that was more than enough . We asked for some time out and then we shared biscuits and cheese . Good range of cheeses with nice accompaniments ( biscuits , grapes, yummy honey sauce ) and plenty for two . We had a cocktail each to start which we really enjoyed , wine with our meal and coffee to finish . Pleasantly surprised at the final bill and would say good value for quality of food . The service was good and the staff charming and eager to please . If I was to return I would definitely try out the Scottish themed dishes .

We really enjoyed our night, found staff very nice Most of the food was very good, but the salmon was not a hit to much pasta on the plate which was just warm and green veg was cold. Also the chef needs to know how to make potato bravas I got some diced potatoes with bland tomato sauce. But we did have a good night and will be back….just think muni needs a little work .
