Service was pretty sparse. It wasn’t super busy (lots of empty tables in our immediate area) and we were having to flag our server down to order and to request the check. They didn’t I quite about refills either. Husband loved his scotch eggs. My Caesar salad was fine (though there were hardly any croutons, and they were stale). Sodas came in plastic cups (but water came in glasses). My steak frites was a major let down. I asked for medium rare and it came out practically still breathing and mooing. Cold, raw center. So much so that I took bites off the ends and left the center because our server never came back to check on us after dropping the food so I couldn’t even ask for it to be re-fired. Husband’s bangers and mash was good, though it was absolutely smothered in onions (which aren’t his favorite). If you like onions though, you’ll be pleased. It was our first time here and at $95 for two sodas, a salad, an appetizer, and two entrees (one of which was not good/not cooked well) alongside lackluster service, unfortunately we won’t be back.

The evening that we went to this Restaurant that I had never been before, there were just a few people in the dining area. Service was slow, to say the least! We had to ask the waiter for everything we need (i.e. refills on our drink, the special of the day menu, etc.). There were 3 of us and we asked the waiter about the size of the pretzel and if it would satisfy all 3 of us as an appetizer. He so, "oh yea, they are ball bark size pretzels". Well, not sure what ballpark he has ever been to, but the pretzel was about as big as a large flatten muffin. Not anything like the big pretzels you get at any other restaurant or ballpark or even Costco. We ordered a 2nd one at at $11.00 a pop, well not worth but $5.00. I was in charge of picking the restaurant and I had looked at the menu and there was a salad I was going to select and that was one of the reasons I wanted to go there. Low and behold, the on-line menu did was not updated as they no longer served this salad, which was disappointing. Portions were small and my side salad was a small handful of mix greens with 4 cherry tomatoes. To sum this up, not a place I would recommend, and I do see why they don't have a lot of business.

Service was great. Fish and chips were good. Beef stew was terrible. It was more like a tomato based vegetable soup with a few pieces of tough meat. The pretzels are amazing. It was. It was on the noisy side but it was the saturday before saint patricks.

Date 2/14 , and while the experience had its highs and lows, it’s definitely a place worth talking about. First, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional. The ambiance was also very nice, making for a pleasant dining atmosphere. The meal started Very thick potato and leek soup, which was not flavorful. The main course, a beef Wellington, was unfortunately served cold, which took away from what could have been a great dish. The biggest disappointment was the dessert, which was downright awful—definitely not the best way to end the meal. Overall, the service and setting were excellent, but the food was inconsistent. I’d consider giving it another try, hoping for a better experience next time.

Beer bottles not cold. Booth very high walls and felt closed in. Servers never asked us if we wanted another drink. Scottish eggs were amazing.

Seated 20 minutes after reservation time. Slow service, seemed really understaffed. Fried food was burnt like the oil was needing to be changed. Food was mediocre. Barely anyone there. Sad! Won’t be going back

Won’t go back. It took 45 minutes for the food to come out. Beef stew was terrible but the fish and chips were decent. Poor server was running around so much he was physically sweating. They clearly didn’t have enough staff on the floor or in the kitchen.

Service was quite poor. Took a while to be seated, longer to place our order, and even longer to get our food. I ordered the stew and it was cold and had three pieces of meat in it. Would go back for drinks but doubt I would go back for food service.
