    We arrived on time at 5:30pm to find that they had given our table away to another group, We ordered our meals and waited 50 minutes and still had no meals. We watched as so many groups that came after us have there meals delivered to them, So then asked wait staff could they check on our order and she said they were short staffed and would be another 15 minutes. Strangely then the came out in the next couple of minutes, The meals were ok but we had waited so long it took the shine off our evening. It was a disappointing experience.

    The lamb roast was fantastic but our other 2 diners said their seafood baskets were overcooked unfortunately. Service was quick and the atmosphere was very nice.

    In Fairness it was very busy, the food was very average, there wasn’t much atmosphere at all, especially for a long weekend, we’d hoped there would be some entertainment.

    Friday night Lobster special is really good, we also had fresh natural oysters and cheesy garlic bread, a delicious meal and great value. The staff are friendly and helpful in finding a great table and the bistro is very clean and lovely decor.
