   Shrimp & Grits continue to be very good here, I have had them a number of times. Service was not as good as in the past but I was just glad that they had endured the hurricanes of late last year. Will come here whenever possible.

   The food was wonderful and our waitress was fantastic! She went above and beyond to make sure our food and experience was excellent. Calamari was some of the best we’ve ever had.

   A very disappointing experience for the 4 of us after our first visit under the new ownership. Food was mediocre at best. Charging $39 for a very small portion of so so farm raised salmon is ridiculous. The lobster and quinoa salad for $29 containing 75% arugula and 2 tablespoons of lobster was outrageous as well. For a Friday evening it was pretty dead, although it was early. No more dinners there for us. My guess our Sandbar and Mar-Vista days are over as well….

   Beautiful setting…right on the beach. Watched the sunset. Food and service were excellent. Would definitely go again

   This is our favorite place to go for lunch or dinner. Depending on the weather we love having a choice as to where we eat…..inside, on the deck or in the sand. Love it!!!

   Everything about this restaurant was very good, but the prices were on the high side for our lunch. The view of the Gulf of MEXICO was fantastic. Our waiter, Cody, deserves a thumbs up for his attention and personality.

   I forgot my credit card called the restaurant and they confirmed they had it. Came back the next day and no one could find it. A total mystery. Had to cancel the card and ordered a new one. Manager was supposed to call me last night. He did not. Artie

    We’d given up on all the Chiles-owned restaurants on the island. Too expensive for what you get, no reservations, mediocre service with a “take-it or leave-it” attitude. Three hour wait at the Sandbar? This year, hearing they’d been sold we tried again. Went to MarVista first. It was fine! Beach House is near our place, so we tried it. Fun lunch. Very good lobster roll. Seated under the covered patio near the beautiful ocean. Great server. Manager types checked on us twice. Happy to report: GO!
