Our food was pretty bland and reminded me of food fair quality. I had the shrimp rice bowl and my husband had a spicy meat pizza. The sauce on the pizza tasted like straight tomato paste and we figured a frozen pizza from home was better. We would not recommend this place and are surprised this quality is being served at such a high end casino and hotel.

Had to keep asking that the volume be turned up on the tv so we could hear the Super Bowl. Pizza wasn’t cooked properly.

We booked our reservations thru Open Table which was convenient.. got there early and were greeted with a smiling lady behind the bar who happened to be our waitress .. nice for a change as attitude is very important to set the mood of the evening so kudos to whomever hired (Jasper S.. now to be honest I didn’t get her name but it was the one on the bill that I kept) It’s been 4-5 years since we’ve been back as I’ve stated before deficiencies that weren’t addressed by the previous management perhaps they just didn’t care.. the Primerib wasn’t hot but rather warm but the cut and qualify of beef was much better than in years past although the accompanying veggies was “frugal” ( 3 sprigs of broccoli, two sprigs of Cauliflower and 1/4 potato cut up to make six pieces and an extremely small Yorkshire pudding🙁) all this for $34.95 when a few years ago it was a Sunday special at $18.00 🤨.. The waitress also noted to us that Happy hour was still on so we ordered the Fish Tacos (3 pieces) composing of a deep fried piece of Cod on a bed of cabbage with a tangy sauce over a Tortilla.. looking back at the bill and what the waitress notes of it being 25% off I was billed the full $17.95 😒 For a neat empty place the music was cranked louder than the noise from a 72 Malibu’s music system 😒 but eh who am I to say? All in all, it wasn’t a meal that I’d be booking for any time soon to be brutally honest but my guest wanted to go there 🤷‍♂️ If I were the manager and saw what came out of the kitchen, would I be proud, probably not based on my experience as a Former F & B manager at a major world wide hotel chain Good luck to those who go in hopes of a better product 🙏

We went to BC Kitchen before attending a Canucks game. The pregame special is a burger and beer for $17.95. We ordered a chicken burger and the server said that it was only beef burgers. I asked the server to check with her manager as this happened with another server once before. She went away supposedly to speak to her manager. For the next 15 minutes we watched her serve other tables and not check back with us. Finally the server returned and offered to take our order. We asked if it was clarified that a chicken burger would be available on the special. She said that it couldn’t be done because there is no button for it on the computer. I asked for the manager to come to the table. It was clear to me after another 10 minutes that she didn’t speak with a manager so I got up, found the manager. He apologized said that of course it could be done and offered to take our order. This is the second time that this has happened. The manager then promised to ensure that staff would be properly trained in the future. This clearly not the case. Further, it was obvious that the server made no attempt to speak to a manager and the story about there not being a button for that on the computer lacks credibility.

Place is fun on game night and the drinks are good but the food is not great. Very prefab bar/pub mediocre for the price.

The restaurant experience I had with my friends was beyond terrible. I had a 6pm reservation for 10 people at BC Kitchen and the service was abysmal. The food took a long time to be served and they were served one/two at a time at such long intervals. The last two entrees were especially behind and when one of the last two was served, it was not at the desired temperature and was thus sent back. This took too long to be re-served and later we realized that the last entree was totally missed. We inquired about it and was told it's coming out in 5min which never happened. Many more conversation followed and excuses made by the sever and the manager. And more than 2 hours after we were seated, the food still has not come. The server was hiding, avoiding us at some point as we were visibly getting upset by the situation. We left the restaurant with one person in my party having not eaten. We had the forgotten order on a take out bag when we left but to add insult to injury, the food was severely overcooked when we opened the bag. We had strong feeling that it was the original overcooked meat that we sent back the first time. Such a terrible experience coming from a restaurant under a JW Marriott brand. Pity. The basics of communication were inexistent among its staff. I was very much looking forward to that weekend as it was my only time to celebrate the holidays with my friends from BC, given that I'm working both Christmas and New Years in Seattle. It almost ruined the whole night.

Service was terrible: inattentive Had to wait and ask for service multiple times and, finally, the check; then the check was innacurrate in our favor, but then the updated, corrected check was delayed due the inattentive staffer opting to have a conversation with the partner of another staffer sitting at the bar.

Didn’t honour their usual happy hour or Sunday game day specials- for no good reason other than presumably it was the weekend of the Taylor Swift concerts next door at BC Place. Absolutely predatory move. No notice on social media or anywhere else that they wouldn’t offer their usual specials.
