   It was a very good place to dine, i loved the energy of the place and the aesthetic. However our server seemed to be very lackluster compared to the rest of the experience. Perhaps he was just having a day but he did not feel very inviting. He only introduced himself and then asked what we wanted without asking if it was our first time or not, which it was, and I felt very rushed about the process. To be fair I could’ve researched myself how the menu works but it is still nice to provide that service to your customers who may be nervous about their first visit. Other than that the food was amazing and the wine was as fantastic as well.

   Our first experience here and we will definitely be back! Julia was our waitress and we chose all of her recommendations from the appetizers to the dinner and each one was absolutely delicious!

   This is our first time visiting battalion and we were hoping for a great experience. It started off great with drinks and appetizers, but slowly started getting worse. It Took about an hour for us to get our dinner. I ordered a steak and waited about 10 minutes to get a steak knife. My wife’s fish was overcooked and very salty. After our dinner we waited another 30 minutes for our dessert and we had to actually take it to go.

   Seated upstairs it was quite noisy and difficult to hear our dinner companions. The trout was cooked properly, however it had been run under a broiler for too long, burning the top with the almonds. My husband had the eggplant which was cooked in the American style, not as it is prepared in Italy. The dessert olive oil lemon cake was quite good. Overall a very average experience.

   The renovated firehouse is such a great spot! The food was great, the service was good and the decor was very cool. The spinach dumplings were not what I imagined them to be but they were better! And the NY Strip was cooked perfectly. I had the olive oil cake for dessert as did one friend. The other person in our party had the s’mores dessert. Both were delicious.

   Very attentive service by our server Kelly who made us feel welcoming and recommended some great items and wine. Girlfriend and I did the RW menu. All the food items we ordered were delicious which include: spinach dumplings, trenne bombay pasta (first course) NY strip steak (main course) tiramisu, s’mores panna cotta (dessert course) It’s a bit loud inside so we sat outside. While cold, they turned the outside heaters on which are next to the tables for warmth. Had a great experience and look forward to dining here again. Shoutout to Kelly who was an amazing server; the restaurant is lucky to have him!

   Food and service was amazing! Music wasn’t too loud or too low so you’re able to have a conversation.
